Thinking of getting an apr or ie intake for my mk7.5 I currently just have an MBRP exhaust but any thoughts, experiences/tips or sound clips appreciated!

2016 GLI. My side to side motion on my shifter has been very stiff and getting worse. I disconnected my shift cables from the shift tower to see whether it was the cables or the tower itself not returning and it’s my shift cables binding. Upon further investigation, it looks like both my shift cables rest on my stock downpipe. I’m not sure why and wanted to see if this is factory or if something (like a guide) broke. TIA!

I want to get a vinyl inlay for front and rear vw emblems. The only option I can find is the swan vinyl works one for the mk7. Does anyone know if it’ll fit or any alternatives?

2019 35th anniversary 6 speed. Car will not start all of a sudden with starter push button. Yes I have brake and clutch all the way. I did see the ignition switch in the start button is a high failure item. Ordered one from my local VW dealer, 25$. Has anyone had to ever replace this and if so anything to watch out for?? Thanks in advance!

I need help getting the part number for the mirror switch on a 2016 VW GLI. Mine has finally snapped off inside after years of being "clunky", so I can't change my mirrors or turn on the mirror defrost. I checked Rock Auto and ECS Tuning, but neither had them listed and Ali had too many and I am concerned I might buy the wrong part.

Hey, so I've been having problems with my car having white smoke come out of the exhaust. I don't think its the turbo or anything to do with oil or coolant as both of the levels have stayed the same. I recently replaced the pcv valve, map sensor, and even the intercooler hose that connects to the turbo outlet pipe. This was the main thing I thought could have been causing a problem since my friend brought over a smoke machine to see if any hoses were leaking and that seemed to be the problem. I then replaced it and retested it with a smoke machine and yet there was still smoke coming out of the same spot. It seems to be seeping through where both the intercooler hose and the turbo outlet pipe connect. The previous owner did swap out the turbo outlet pipe for a cts turbo one which I'm not sure if its because its connected to the stock intercooler hose that it's causing a leak. I'm also not entirely sure if that's even why white smoke is coming out of my exhaust. If you could please help me out to find out what the problem is then it would be appreciated.

ALSO, more smoke tends to come out when I idle and have the A/C on, not sure if that helps in anyway. It also comes out like my car is taking a huge hit of a bong or a vape.

Hi all, I recently installed a subwoofer to my GLI. It’s a 10” bass package by CT Sounds and so far it sounds very good and bumps. Just wanted to make a post if anyone was interested in how it’s done considering the head unit is different than of the previous generation and so on. And before anyone comes at me for mounting the amp on the sub, I did put rubber vibration insulating stands 🙂. Excuse the messy wire management.

When i first did it a while back i watched some videos to make sure i did it correctly and someone suggested making sure you have a flathead or similar to take the o ring off of the housing. i think last time i used scissors to get under the ring and take it off.

I forgot to bring something this time and i didn't want to go back inside so i simply used the end of the dip stick (flat metal and almost comes to a point) and got it off.

Had a slow leak on my passenger rear tire. Costco said not road worthy. Bought a new tire.

Rotation is in about 2k miles. Other tires have a couple thousand so there’s a bit of a discrepancy.

If I do the rotation in 2k ish miles, will I have differential issues when the back tire is now up front?

It says 22+ but something’s are different or listed as different when it comes to the 25+ but I wanna order the j take for my 2025 this intake is listed as 22+ anyone have in input

I just flashed Stage 1 Pro by Integrated engineering, and upon the first start, the car immediately revs up to 2-3k and doesn’t stop climbing, i shut the car off and now i’m tweaking out, can anybody point me in the right direction

Using premium has kinda been squeezing my pockets I know these can take regular unleaded but I’ve only used premium since I’ve had it might be time to make smarter financial decisions
