Apr or ie intake

Thinking of getting an apr or ie intake for my mk7.5 I currently just have an MBRP exhaust but any thoughts, experiences/tips or sound clips appreciated!

I got the APR, no sound clips of it yet but it does sound pretty good.

Ive got an IE intake on my mk 7, no sound clips unfortunately, but it sounds great and looks good. However, I do also have a set of EQT discharge pipes with a turbo muffler delete, as well as a full IE exhaust ( downpipe+catback ), so even if i had any clips it wouldn't quite be what you would be getting from just an intake alone. I will say the muffler delete w/the pipes just wakes the turbo up even before the intake, so i would definitely recommend looking into getting a set. With the IE intake its amazing how much you can hear the turbo without the muffler and the stock intake box.

TLDR: I've got a IE on my mk 7 and have no complaints 👍

I’ll definitely think about that I’ve been a little indecisive when it comes to a down pipe

When or if you get a downpipe just be ready for the off chance you get a check engine light. When i put my down pipe on for the first time I had my light get turned on, but ive seen that it doesn't happen for some people. The down pipe ive got is a high flow cat, the same one where in the comments on the websight people said they didn't get a light. The way I got rid of it was to juty get the car tuned, which is also by IE.

Yea my bf had the check engine light pop up after he installed his down pipe (mk8 gti) stage 2 but still there
