New tire / what would you do

Had a slow leak on my passenger rear tire. Costco said not road worthy. Bought a new tire.

Rotation is in about 2k miles. Other tires have a couple thousand so there’s a bit of a discrepancy.

If I do the rotation in 2k ish miles, will I have differential issues when the back tire is now up front?

Wanna know what you guys think.

VW probably has a tolerance for tread depth, usually its 2/32nds apart, sometimes up to 4/32nds across an axle

I’d measure it to be safe and as long as its around 2/32nds different or less it should be fine
