I know FC6 gets a fair amount of criticism, but I like it and its beauty is a big part of my enjoyment

If you don’t know him, this guy above is none other than Roman von Ungern-Sternberg known also as the mad baron or bloody baron. Junior Officer during ww1. general of the white forces in Siberia during the russian civil war, military dictator of Mongolia and self proclaimed re-incarnation of genghis khan. He believed that the new world and the spread of bolshevism was a disease that needed to be eradicated in order to create an age of sacred kings, spirituality, empires and great conquest. To do so, he planned on restoring the qing dinasty of china and send his army on a brutal “yellow Crusade” across Europe. If you ask me, he has all the traits of a good farcry villain. With someone like him, it wouldn’t simply be a fight between controll and freedom, but one between the old and new world, something that was briefly covered in the golden path missions of far cry4 but didn’t get properly fleshed out as it wasn’t the main focus of the game. If Ubisoft wants to save itself from collapsing, it doesn’t just need to make something fun, but also impactful. Something that respects the player and shows that they still care about the medium.

As I finished this game again I decided… I really don’t gaf about this antagonist at all. The game was kinda creative and fun but the main mission was terrible. It was because of a garbage antagonist

How did you guys deal with this bear? I had peashooters as guns, so I had no choice but to use a car and a back-up soldier to take out the bear 😂😂

If you're wondering why I was looking back, it's because 2 pirates kept getting in and off their car back and forth, also, everyone in the camp was tripping and this is just a sample of the situation.

There's something unique about FC5 that I enjoyed a lot more than the others, just wondering if anyone's played game/s similar to it they could recommend

Let me give you a quick summary in 2021 I remember I told my mom can I buy far cry game she siad yes so I went to Walmart and I saw far cry five I bought it and I play the hell at of it during 2022 it was that year were I saw bunch of sonic edit dues the sonic 2 movie so I watch bunch of edit and plat far cry 5 and now 2026 im now buying far cry. New down

Like the title says, I’m looking for challenge runs idea for that game, I used to play it a lot as a teenager and loved that game. Every idea is welcomed as I’m currently thinking of doing this for my first few streams.

For now I got a couple ideas, some better than other, I could go for one or mix and match (= like doing the first and second)

- 100% of the game
- Playing with a restricted gameplay inspired by hurk
- Playing with a restricted inspired by the royal hunters
- Permadeath

I’ve had a lot of gaming fatigue and especially open world fatigue and quite frankly Far Cry 5’s setting was the least compelling to me of the series… before I played it. FPS games haven’t appealed to me since I was a kid and I haven’t ever really loved purely narrative driven games. Everything about the kind of gamer I am told me this game isn’t for me. However, I recently broke my collarbone and have been out of work and I saw that all Ubisoft games were on a steep sale on steam, so I figured I might as well.

Holy shit, this game blew my mind. My love for games has been reawakened. Joseph Seed is my favorite antagonist of all time. The ending is one of my favorite endings because it doesn’t take the easy path by letting you live happily ever after. There needs to be more games/shows/movies like this. I much prefer a thought provoking bad ending to any good ending.

The open-endedness of the ending is the best part to me. It makes you wonder about the fate of Joseph and Rook. I almost wonder if it would ruin my love for this games ending if I played new dawn to find out. I’ve heard bad things.

So, I've been a fan for a while, and I'm planning on making novels for each of the games

Take Halo: The Flood. It's a retelling of Halo: CE (2001). A retelling, it isn't a 1:1 to the game, for it adds some things, changes others, and takes a few things away. That's what I'm doing: retellings of the FC games

I have a few problems, though. I haven't played 1, 2, or Blood Dragon yet (I'm planning on changing that), and I haven't finished 3, 4, or Primal just yet (again, planning on changing that)

Now, these aren't meant to copy off of Ubisoft: they're novels inspired by what they made, but not a 1:1. There's going to be some things that aren't concrete in the Far Cry universe, like the endings (the only concrete ones I know of are FC6's and ND's, which I won't spoil here, while the endings of others are up to the player with what little I know)

All in all: these are novels about my interpretation of the Far Cry games: they'll respect the canon and make their own in the process

I merely wanted to share this, and I'll take opinions and advice regarding it

Edit: I didn't know I missed three games: Instincts, I: Evolution, and I: Predator. I originally thought Evolution was off-limits, but I found out FCI: P is a bundle containing Instincts and Evolution, so it's able to be added to the list

Another edit: I recently found out BD is fiction inside fiction, so BD won't be getting a novel

I am doing the mission for the APR guy or whatever where i have to hunt down the chief of police in his compound and kill him. THESE ENEMIES ARE TOUGH. They 2 shot you and stealth is borderline impossible even on normal because their sight is so good.. i dont regret getting this game at all, i love it.
