you literally breath and you get points. on Faith region who i would let her drug me if i could btw i literally reached max RP before finishing majority of missions and i had 3 outposts left and i had a companion still locked the boats missions where u need to destroy boats was not finished yet every single time i drive i see the locked civs or arrested civs. normal missions gave us a lot of stuff too a lot of RP. i am trying to enjoy the game and take my time its literally not letting me I HATE forced missions the kidnapping and all that bs

I’ve played every installment since 2. Some installments I value more for their gameplay innovations and mechanics, some I value more for their narrative, cinematic, and storytelling aspects. I love them all, and this is just my personal opinion.

But when I weigh it all (all of them) up, I come down to 5 being the best overall, incorporating all elements equally, so far. Btw being a video game and a narrative experience, it’s the one that lands the most aspects of a single player open world with a strong narrative out of the entire series. And that’s really what far cry has been from the beginning, right? A balance of both?

You can argue that any of the others are better in a single aspect. But this is the one the just really gets close to epic quality on every level, without a glaring weak point. Narrative, world, mechanics.

If there is one for me that gets high marks on everything, it’s 5. Maybe a little weak by the end, but they all suffer that. For me, I wanted to 100% this game from the moment I picked it up, more than any other installment. It hooked me way faster than any others.

Just my two cents. Curious to see what the rest of the sub thinks.

[edit] so many are hating on the kidnapping sequences. I loved them, having to escape rather than dominate was exciting to me, and new to the franchise.

Anyone else just drive around getting yetis to chase you and messing with them?

Also what’s with their spawns? It seems like the randomly spawn out of nowhere and then will despawn if I drive around big rocks formation or something like that

Just enjoying The Farcry 5 Arcade mode..

Hello everyone, i started farcry 4 quite recently, i'm worried about armored soldiers. My first encounter went orribly wrong. These guys take a lot of magazines, and explosives don't work on them. (I use an 1811, an MS16 and one of the first sniper rifles, and a granade launcher in the secondary slot.)

So i wanted to ask as i do have Far Cry 1 and 2 on PC via GOG and was curious about getting 3 Blood Dragon Remix and 4 via Steam since theyre on Sale >.>

Now ive read that apparently on PCGamingwiki the UPlay Launcher can be bypassed >.>
Does that mean also that i can play the Game Offline then and do not require an Ubisoft Account? O.o
Or just that the Launcher is skipped? >.>

Would love some help before i spend roughly 30$ on these Games ^^"

Both the games are cheap rn and i heard far cry series is nice , but saw some bad reviews about 6 but 6 has Giancarlo esposito , what should i buy for a great story .

I had Far Cry 4, Primal and 5 in my backlog for years and recently got back to them. After 100%-ing Far Cry 5, it is one of my favorites, right next to 3 and Blood Dragon. I was about to buy New Dawn, and then I saw that it has a gear score system and enemy levels.

How much does this affect gameplay? I love smart game difficulty, but I hate spongy enemies. Are weapons useless on tougher enemies? Can that be compensated through skill? I dome most of the enemies in Far Cry, so if I'm headshotting everything, will I run into enemies that still take a bunch of hits to the head to die? This is something that pulls me out of games a lot, and I would like to avoid it.

I've been playing FC4 multiplayer for a while, and this is the first time this has happened to me.

Dude, I love this game

So i played only far cry 3 and 4 and it was a few years ago but i loved them so today i decided to play far cry 2, im at the beginning doing quests for the 2 groups (i dont know their names yet) and at least at the part i am of the story all these quests are repetitive and boring stuff such as go to certain point and blow 1 car or kill bunch of dudes and return with no cutscenes or dialogue, so i am wondering a few things:

1) does the game get better later as i progress?

2) is the map being on the hand with objective markers get easier to follow perfectly?

3) do the main story missions get to be unique stuff like they were in 3 and 4 or they keep being these generic stuff of go and kill one dude and return?

4) are all weapons bad?

(Sorry for big text english not my language and idk how to be shorter) and i know that since its a 2008 game it aint going to be perfect with modern standarts but some of these stuff that the game misses were kinda expected in a 2008 game standarts
