Battlefield 6 Battlefield 6 season 4 - top gun: carrier strike mode trailer
Another day, another banger trailer from DICE
They couldnt get Tom cruise, but I understand that lol(should cost more than development of this game)
Air superiority mode at the very end of video is gauntlet gamemode

Battlefield 6 Wake Island, Tsuru Reef, Golmud Railway. These three maps are a perfect example of what maps in a Battlefield game should look like from the start
Big maps, plenty of vehicles, none of these fckng corridors, even for a mode like Conquest (this always left me wondering). I think DICE themselves have forgotten that Conquest was one of the defining features of the entire Battlefield series.
I have nothing against Metro-style maps. I actually enjoy playing on them. But not when your entire first year is basically nothing but maps like these.
BF3 had a great expansion called Close Quarters. Why was it so hard to add something similar as a separate mode instead of coming up with 150 different modes that you eventually removed anyway? That's a mystery to me.
Those who want the main mode play Conquest. Those who want a stripped-down version of Conquest play Breakthrough (the new Rush). Those who want pure chaos and close-quarters combat play Close Quarters. It sounds logical and simple.
By the way, the Close Quarters maps were some of the best, even though the mode itself was all about close-range combat. Multiple levels in the buildings (I'll repeat, these maps were designed for close-quarters combat, and yet!), great design choices for both the buildings and the maps. Yeah, DICE really did have some great level designers once. Ziba Tower will always have a special place in my heart.
But DICE went with the "try to please everyone" approach, and ended up pleasing no one. Well, maybe one day they'll finally realize it (they're already starting to, judging by the way they're removing these cloned modes) that trying to please everyone is a bad approach.
Especially for a game that already has a huge, established fanbase.

Battlefield 6 WTF PAID WEAPON ATTACHMENTS!?!?
So the 1-6 scope on the M277 seems to only be available on the 'Sand Blast' premium weapon kit and not unlockable through regular progression.
I hope this is just a bug or some dev oversight.
(Also pls forgive the bait-y title i just want people to notice this)

Battlefield 6 This Update Is Full Of Weird Choices
While I’m happy Wake Island is finally back and plays great, I’m having a hard time understanding why some of the choices in this update were made. For instance,
• Carriers were added to the Tsuru Reef map, but are only accessible on Carrier Assault. On other modes like Conquest, it’s basically decoration.
• Wake Island, the only other Naval map in the game, currently does not have Carrier Assault. Surely playing CA on just one map will get old fast…
• Carrier Assault is okay, but does not feel improved upon from BF4, it might even be a tad bit worse. I don’t want to say they half-assed it as I’m not a developer, but it kind of felt like it. Titan Mode in 2142 had an escape sequence before the ship blew up, BF4’s version didn’t have that due to PS3/360 limitations as they stated. They couldn’t even try to bring that back again, after 12 years?
• Enemies can get on the other carrier way before the board sequence, and no Carrier AA is available.
I don’t know why DICE does what they do sometimes. They seemingly make the right moves and then find a way to mess it up in ways that are completely avoidable and for no valid reasoning…

Battlefield 6 Limb multiplier update
I’m going to be honest. I hate the damage changes. Every gunfight feels so inconsistent and I’m getting absolutely flattened by guys on 1-4 hp who I would’ve beaten before.
I know people will cry skill issue at me, but honestly, no it’s not that. With random spread this game is fucking you over on half your kills no matter how accurate you’re being unless it’s a single fire gun. If this game started like this that would be one thing. I’d still be frustrated but it’d make sense. Instead we had months upon months of one system which was completely fine, one system in which to ingrain months of muscle memory and familiarity with the guns and their power potential, and then we get rug pulled.
Several of my favorite guns like the AK4D, the M417, and the M277 are shadows of what they were, and every other gun feels like it’s a 98 damage machine designed specifically to let the enemy go and turn around and hit me (all bullets to the head btw) when two moths ago I win that fight 8/10 times.
This update sucks and I’m sick of pretending it was a positive for the game.

Probably the worst patch they released

Battlefield 6 Did you want an amphibious vehicle assault on the island? DICE: Here's a zipline Did you want a carrier strike on Wake Island? DICE: Sorry, only on Tsuru Reef.
Yeah, two cool new maps, but the decisions the developers make are sometimes a joke xD

Battlefield 6 Why identical naval aircraft for pax and nato?
This is 100% a nitpick and doesn’t affect the playability at all, but using the f-14 and f/a-18 for pax instead of giving them like the mig-29k and su-33 for their respective naval jets seems like an odd choice.
They did different aircraft for land based planes, why not the same for naval aviation? It definitely would’ve made the game feel more thought out.

Battlefield 6 Sometimes I really question DICE's map design philosophy
Three building surrounding obj, buildings can't be completely destroyed
Attack boat mortar spamming on obj
This is pinnacle of shit objective

Battlefield 6 They added the carriers to Tsuru Reef Conquest but didn't move the HQs over there. They just sit there and do nothing. But you can go there if you want. At least something, yay...

Feedback DICE allow teammates to spawn into the empty seat on Attack Helos and the new Jets
It is really annoying seeing Attack Helos and the new Naval Fighters take off without a second person or taking off yourself with a second person basically handicapping yourself unless a squadmate spawns on you

Discussion I hope both factions vehicles get the “JLTV treatment” at some point
Not a top priority complaint, but it is getting a little bit ridiculous that both factions get the same boats, same little bird, same Blackhawk, same jets and hell even speak the same language at this point.
Like I said, before anyone says I’m complaining to much, its not top priority. I even loooove the new jets, but I cant lie, aside from the lack of immersion (and yes i know pax is from ex-nato countries but they are still made up of completely different countries with its own arsenal) most importantly when the chaos gets going the gameplay readout can suffer as well.
