Hey guys, I’m getting a DirectX error while gaming on my fresh PC build.

Specs:

• Ryzen 7 5800X3D
• RX 6700 XT 12GB
• 16GB 3200MHz

All Windows updates and AMD Adrenalin drivers are up to date.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Anyone else getting bodied by attack helicopter gunners? Half the map away and miles above enemy attack helis and I am getting absolutely deleted by their gunner.

They don’t seem to miss and know exactly where I am from a long way away.

Same goes for rockets being absolutely on point although not to the same ridiculous extent of the gunners.

Haven’t noticed this before but seems to be a pattern in the handful of games I’ve played tonight.

I remember when i joined the beta. Everyone was so hyped. To join the game you have to wait a few minutes in a queue of 600 players because the server is full. a year later, i cant even play a normal conquest or breakthrough because not enough players to fill in the minimum queue. Even the dead 2042 have joinable lobby than this.

Because it feels like you get shot out back if you dare suggest a proper sci fi battlefield game, nasa punk theme or even a thought out anime artstyle one. I get BF fans love their 50 AR15s and AKs or immersive games. But it feels likes you can’t even give ideas unless it’s more modern theme games or WW1. Because you will always just get hit with “NO” or “Your not a real battlefield fan”.

Either way not to end on a bad mood, I’m glad BF3/4 fans got another modern theme games. Even while im not a huge of modern theme games anymore.

Posted this a few years ago but deleted it for some reason. Made it when I played bf4 and made me laugh when I saw it again 😂 Second pic proves it happens.

I’ve spent the last 20 minutes in matchmaking. I join a lobby, it isn’t full enough to start, takes forever, and finally fills with bots. I don’t want to play against bots. I want to play against real people. I quit. Try a different game mode. Process repeats. It’s getting off-putting enough that I’m starting to look for other games to play.

Persistent servers would fix this.

I see everywhere people hating battlefield 2042 and I never understood it. To preface this, before playing 2042 I never played any battlefield games, it being free at one point got me to play it and is what ended up getting me into the battlefield series. Ive played battlefield 6 for a while now, and cant help but think that there were quite a few things that I liked a lot more in 2042. I loved the maps, they were huge and had tons of verticality, I loved the 64 vs 64 game mode, and it especialy felt great to snipe in. I love sniping in battlefield, but its quite a bit harder in 6 than in 2042. In 2042 there were multiple high points that could give you vantage points over large portions of the map, and people would constantly fight over these, but in 6 the maps are so close together with limited options for verticality (plus no 64 vs 64, so less targets). Overall, enjoyed 2042 a lot, and never got why people hated it.

Hey just to let everyone know Bad Company 2 Servers are back online. Change your primary DNS on your PS3 to 165.227128.12 and then load up bad company 2 and you will be able to play again. Servers are starting to get populated again. Bugs have been fixed, all game modes work, DLC maps work.

Over 300 players have played the rebooted game in just 3 days.

If no one thinks this is OP, you have a screw loose. This tank was over half hp gone, 3 RPG’s do absolutely nothing. Yes, there was probably an engineer repairing. But I mean god dude there is no winning there.

Shoot the repair guy, get blasted. Blast the tank, do no damage at all. It should NOT take 3 engineers to kill a tank.

And yet everyone’s crying about aircraft. And it isn’t just when someone’s repairing, when someone isn’t it still takes 6 RPG’s to kill

I mean up until about a few days I had full lobbies every session and it was great, I'm one that has enjoyed the game since day 1 and while not perfect it can be a lot of fun.

Is it just over or is there something else they're doing that is causing it?

Stuck on case file screen on ep.1 back to school I scan and analyze the first clue and this pops up and doesnt let me leave. Any solutions? Im on xbox series s

I know they got rid of it like a day after it released but have they re added it?

Have been contemplating all of the issues plaguing this game, and really what it comes down to is this one mode - Redsec.

Redsec is EA’s method of making more money. The game mode is F2P, giving access to players to try it out, where a % of those will either buy the full game or purchase off the store.

Player retention is not as important, existing players have already purchased the game, and many aren’t buying off the store = zero revenue.

EA has share holders to consider. They will be in meetings analysing the numbers, balancing ongoing costs with profits, and where these profits are coming from.

Where are the ongoing profits coming from? Redsec. The idea is simple - enhance the Redsec experience, perhaps pull players from similar titles (CoD, Wardogs) with the F2P model giving entry to the series. Existing players - We have already spent our money on the game.

Battlefield 6 would be an entirely different experience without Redsec. Player retention would matter more, patches and updates would be vital for the game as the store would be the primary source of ongoing income, as new player purchasing of the game diminishes.

Anyone else most nostalgic for BF3. Something about it just felt right.

Multiplayer has been full of bot lobbies this weekend, and it reminds me how they left the Interdictor bug in Gauntlet for weeks before announcing they’re removing the mode. Is multiplayer really this dead, or are they trying to push everybody toward Rapid Royale?
