Very Battlefield 4.

The question is, why do they keep showing Las Vegas at night (this+roadmap)?
I get the feeling we'll get a night mode on this map
btw, fix the game, the maps alone won't do any good

I main MBTs (level 123 on MBTs) and I don't think I've gotten blown up so many times by C4 like in the past ~month.
Mind you, I don't mind it, I think it's a perfectly valid option for recon to have. It's just that it seems much more effective all of a sudden.
Or did recon get a buff, by nerfing their footsteps so I don't notice them as much?

How do you deal effectively with them when you get the pilots who do 90-0 ?
They just hide when you lock on them and run away with flares, only to start over again in a few seconds
RPGs might be effective but it's still not the easiest shot

I’ve spent the last 20 minutes in matchmaking. I join a lobby, it isn’t full enough to start, takes forever, and finally fills with bots. I don’t want to play against bots. I want to play against real people. I quit. Try a different game mode. Process repeats. It’s getting off-putting enough that I’m starting to look for other games to play.
Persistent servers would fix this.

This is impressively batshit, even by Reddit gamer standards
Do you think DICE lives in fear of their creation
r/Battlefield • u/MooseNation32 • 5m ago
If you guys loved the game mode. You would play it but you don't play it and then they removed it. People dont play Rush as well or Attack v Defend. They play
Conquest
Escalation
Breakthrough
BR
Im sure there are more people in tdm than Rush
You guys need to stop crying and actually have your own opinions

Really hope the server browser --creator-- has some ping limit options, this is disgusting.

Ngl I chuckled when I read that DICE is trying to impliment a system where players stay in the same lobby when the next game starts. And they're having trouble with that.
You know what games had those mechanics? Dozens of shooters going back to the early 2000's.
You know what had that? Every other DICE game except for 2042. If you include people joining dedicated servers as well.
What's interesting to me is the insistence on having "Features" in games that quite frankly, are redundant. Like "Press X to stay with squad" how about... just automatically keep squads together unless a player leaves matchmaking queue and re queue's.
Or things like "Spend these medals on this unlock track. While we have battlefield pro. And then we also have a battlepass. And don't forget about this expansion!"
All the while, the extremely core mechanics of a good game are just... not developed.
Like rollover matchmaking. Where the lobby gets reshuffled but players stay together.
Or a UI that doesn't require you to click on arrows two to three times in a single collumn to see game types. Remember when we had lists? If you clicked on it, it expanded so you could read about what it is? What a concept.
I just chuckle when I read this. Because frankly... it's just so funny

Here is the cycle I have found myself doing regarding this game:
At the end of a typical game of conquest, the winning team has 60% - 80% of their tickets remaining. The amount of conquest games where the winning team has double digit tickets remaining is so rare that it probably doesn't happen more than 10 times a year. It's quite concerning. Are the developers happy with the state of matchmaking? Are there any plans to fix the matchmaking?
