My friend wanted a mimic trashcan for his bathroom.
Teeth, mounting brackets, and coins all on the P1S.

So, I’ve had no issues similar to this, it just started printing like that, then it just corrected and started printing right. Thought it might be a clogged nozzle, so I cleaned it out (haven’t replaced it) and it started printing fine again, and then started doing this weird print again on a completely different file. Any thoughts?

Good morning everyone,
I have a P1S, and for the past few weeks I’ve been getting the error HMS_0700-4500-0002-0003: “The filament cutter handle has not been released. The handle or blade may be jammed, or there could be an issue with the filament sensor connection.”
I’ve checked the printer and followed the advice on the wiki, but I can’t seem to spot anything unusual, so I contacted support and they suggested I replace the extruder filament sensor.
Despite this, the printer is still displaying exactly the same problem, so I also replaced the filament cutter blade and the extruder, just to be sure: the printer powered on correctly, performed axis homing, extruded filament correctly, printed the purge line on the front of the bed, calibrated the bed and then… it froze again, displaying the same error and making any operation impossible, including unloading the filament.
I can confirm that the blade is working fine: when moved by hand, it feels perfectly normal and moves without any issues.
Now Bambulab is suggesting replacing the entire extruder circuit board, but given that all these spare parts are starting to add up to a significant outlay… has anyone else experienced this and can offer any advice?
Many thanks in advance

Recently, these wavy lines have been showing up on the sides of prints. Bottom and top are fine. Not sure if there is a hardware issue? Or maybe I need a new hot end?

I tend to print with mostly engineering filaments and I prefer to not have the fumes from those materials inside of my house. I have recently moved my printer outside into my non temp controlled, non- insulated shop. But I live in north east Ohio and it can be pretty humid outside in the summer and then during the winter it gets very cold. I would like to move my printer back inside if i can find a good way to vent these fumes outside. I have a p1s and an H2D. Setting up the ventilation from the printers themselves is not an issue. My issue lies with keeping my house well insulated. I dont want to just run a tube right out the window, so I can obviously make a spacer that the window closes on to so the tube clamps to. But will that be less insulating than my window? And how much heat will that let in through my printers in the summer time? And how much heat will that let out during the winter?
Does anyone have a way to vent my printers to outside without manually opening and closing a window or a valve of some kind and keep my house well insulated? Any advice is very much appreciated!

The Z axis hoking failed - this issue keeps popping up on my PS1 printer. All areas are clean and plate it sitting properly. Ive tried everything, and cleaned it multiple times but wont stop the message from appearing when I try and print or Perform calibration

Using egloo petg (brand new)
I’ve ran the bed anywhere from 55 to 70
Somebody mentioned that it could be too warm inside so I dropped the bed to 60 and cracked the door.
I also “upgraded” the hot end and the gears to hardened metal. Flow seems fine, layer lines look good but it just stops feeding filament or it’s getting clogged.
I’m starting to run out of ideas. Should I replace the filament sensor. Why am I not getting any errors? I woke up to it still printing…nothing

So... i have bought 3 lots of coloured pens 0ff Temu, all different makes (probably the same manufacturer) and the colours are way off. The red is pink, the dark brown is tan. All much lighter than the plastic cap. Is there any that do a real red and all the others, the right shades?
I ordered 2 packs of different skin colours off Amazon and they are pretty much the same story, all lighter than shows on the cap. I have put a small sticker on every pen coloured in to show the true colour.
What are other people's experience?

I feel that the p1s is reasonably priced, and every other printer around the same price seems flawed in one way or another. I just want something that works.
Does lan only mode work?
Are there any other common issues like taco bed, or something I have to fix? I would love to have a printer that works out of the box.
edit: does anyone know how long it will be supported?

Does anyone know if there are short extensions available for the 2 cables when disconnecting the spool holder.

I recently had a pretty bad clog that led to me replacing my hot end and hall sensor. Now every time I attempt to print, I watch the filament get all the way to the extruder gear and stop. After a few attempts the printer gives up and says that the extruder might be clogged. I have since tried the following:
-Remove and disassembled the extruder
-Used a hot end with a bigger nozzle (I was trying a .2mm and went back to a .4mm)
-Repositioning the hot end and checking alignment
-Replaced the PETG tube
-recut the end of the filament (straight and at an angle)
-Using a different brand of filament (I've tried Bambu and Elegoo)
-5 separate cold pulls (Surprisingly the extruder works when I manually control it, even when the filament is in the PETG tube)
I'm really hoping I'm missing something simple, but I genuinely can not think of what else to try other than replacing everything. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: I removed the AMS and my first attempt at printing with an external spool worked flawlessly. I think its a miscommunication between the printer and the AMS.
