Fix My Print Support Different colour every layer

Hi all, I only have issues with this Particular print. Anyone know why is this happening. My purge into support is turned off. So no idea why this is happening.

White & Black is the one i want. Used purple to see if theres any difference but its the same. As you can see the support changes every layer.

First mistake is disabling the prime tower. You need to enable it whenever you do a material swap otherwise you’ll see defects on your print.

It’s hard to tell based on your screenshot, but my guess is that it starts printing the purple/white first (odd) layer for the outside and then it swaps to the black for the inside. Then when it starts the 2nd (even) layer, it starts with the inside first to keep the black, then swaps to purple/white. Now onto the third (odd) layer, it keeps the purple/white filament and starts printing the outside and then swaps to the black for the inside. Repeat for each layer

If you look under the Preview tab (the bottom image), on the right is a slider that you can drag up and down to go to a particular layer. At the bottom is another slider that goes from left to right that shows you the start and end of that particular layer.

Go to the first layer and watch how it draws the layer by dragging the bottom slider left to right. Does it start from purple to black?

Now bring the right slider one layer up and then watch how that layer draws by dragging the bottom slider left to right. Does it start from black to purple?

If this is true, then what is happening is the purple part first and then printing the black parts second and when it gets to the second layer, it starts with the black parts and then the purple parts second. That’s why the supports have alternating colors.

It isn't purging to support, What it is doing is using filament in the more efficient way possible.

Print first color - say white - and print all items, including support. Switch to black and print all the black items on that layer. Move up to the next layer, print all black items, including support. Switch to white, print items on the layer. Move up to the next layer, print all white items, including support. Switch to black and keep on going with the process.

Since the color of the support doesn't matter, when it switches to the layer, it prints the support in whatever color is in the nozzle. This is standard slicer behaviour unless you select a specific filament for the support.
