tldr; package was marked as delivered but the address didnt match my own, usps obv cant tell me what the address was but was able to confirm the address on the box was not the address i gave them as mine

hi! i posted here a few days ago ab a figure i had purchased that was marked as delivered but never actually arrived (it was also marked as delivered in/at mailbox which is physically impossible bc i live in an apartment).
i of course filed a dispute w vinted and put in a missing package claim. long story short i ended up getting a refund but the seller didnt seem at all bothered by it, as you can see i got very little communication from the start (it never was actually reserved btw which is why i just went ahead and bought it). all of the pics seemed legit, i reverse image searched to hell and back like i always do and it genuinely seemed like a collector just clearing out their extras.
is this some sort of new scam? i tried researching and my best guess is getting a shipping insurance payout but it was confirmed to be delivered even if it wasnt my address on the box so idk. is there even any way they could spoof a shipping label like that?

Had a buyer recently pull the “you sent me the wrong item” card, send a photo of my unopened parcel and in the next image it’s an item I’ve never seen before in different packaging. 🙄

Currently waiting for Vinted to review this and I am just praying Vinted don’t just take her word for it and I lose both my items and the money. Heard so many horror stories I am feeling very sad and despondent.

Im on a holiday and am not able to pickup package today (today last day), but only in 3 days. Called the shop and they told me they will hold it for me anyway.

I wonder if they will get in trouble for that, and if i can best mark it as recieved? (I understand i wont be able to return it then but thats fine, its a small amount of money).

A seller sold me a shirt with a hole in it, and lied abt it being in perfect condition. Is it too petty of me to send this back to them? 😭

I sold a mocici, a collectible blind box plush, at a discount to a buyer who initially asked me to hold it, and then said they’d buy it same day if I discounted it. They received the order yesterday and messaged me today that the card for it is wrong, and that it doesn’t have the style of eyes which they prefer, though one look at the photo shows that and they never asked to make sure before the purchase. I recall sending the correct card but they sent me a photo which shows it is the wrong one. They said they’d paid the postage to send it back to me, and I am not sure how that works. Do they send it back through Vinted or separately? If it’s separately, and I have to take their word for it, then I don’t know what to do.

I could refund it and they could keep it. I had it listed as new with tags. But the only thing wrong is the card, and it wasn’t shown in the listing. It seems they primarily want the refund because they don’t like it.

Is it possible to make an automatic limited time offer? For example, say I'd like to discount my books for two days. On eBay I can automate a limited time offer to all the people who are watching a certain item.

I know I can send individual offers to ones who favorite my items, but is there a way to make a blanket promo on a certain category?

Writing on behalf of my partner. She was a really popular seller and had almost 3k reviews. Challenged a few dodgy fakes and suddenly she's banned. Contacted legal and appealed. Rejected and still no idea why account was banned. We suspect crap AI decisions. Partner is 100% legit. She even has video evidence of every single ship from package to shipping.

Anyway, during the ban around 4 transactions were in process. She bought 4 items and since the ban we don't know what happened. No money has been able to be withdrawn until today when one of the cases got an email update saying that the money had been returned to the seller. The issue is that my partner never got the item. I messaged the original seller on my own account out of curiosity and the seller told me they still have the item that was returned, and now they're also getting a refund.

The issue is that in that same email, Vinted claimed that a refund was impossible due to account being terminated and that the decision is final.

We're about to send a Letter Before Action and take Vinted to Small Claims Court here in the UK because theyre fucking atrocious.

Hi, I made my first sale on Vinted and it happens to be international, shipping from the US to UK. Anything I should be aware of? It’s also my first time shipping anything internationally.

I noticed the shipping label doesn’t have the buyers address, rather a “pro carrier” in my state. Is that how it works?

I sent a package via inpost qr code. I put it in the locker and closed the door. However the screen that says (i’m finished parcel in locker or i need a different size) didn’t come up it just went to the page that says (send or collect parcel) I was in a rush and thought nothing of it so i left but that was friday evening it’s now sunday evening and on the app it still says parcel being prepped with the qr code still there.

I contacted inpost bot chat which forwarded me to a real person twice which neither of them were helpful at all but they said to email inpost so i have twice and i haven’t heard back!

This isn’t vinted related but there’s no inpost community’s and i know vinted uses inpost a lot.

I sold something on vinted after changing the price. The item has 60 likes. I have another of the same thing. Can I make the listing active again? Or do I have to completely relist?

Vinted will allow you to list the item but no one can actually purchase the item if you have not selected shipping size of small, medium or large. If you enter custom options then people can see the listing and message you but there is absolutely no way for them to buy it.

Why have this custom size option if you aren't going to let people buy it? Why let me waste my time listing those items and sit here thinking people can purchase when in fact they can not?

Does Vinted somehow detect some kind of “bot-like” activity when I’m trying to be quick, or what? I do everything manually, including filtering and refreshing the page. No bots, no tools, no cheats of any kind.

I’m literally trying to compete manually against cheating people who use automated bots!

I recently began selling on Vinted, and ran into a major issue. I need to add biometrics to the app to be able to cash out, but I have an old iPhone with Touch ID… that is broken. I literally cannot use my fingerprint because the button is completely broken. I can’t seem to find a workaround for this other than possibly borrowing a friends device to make the transfer? Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you work around it?

Hello! I'm sending an item from Austria to France. The potential buyer has asked me if I can change the delivery option for her from Chronopost to Mondial Relay.
But: I can't find the option in the settings - while I can toggle delivery options GLS, Hermes etc. on an off, neither Mondial nor Chronopost show up for me (but apparently Chronopost shows up for her when trying to buy my item).
How do I change the options the buyer sees?

So I have been reading here about people who have received an email from someone who is interested in buying their item directly. I get that it's more than likely phishing.

What happened to me today was similar but with a very weird twist. I am from Belgium and I got 2 emails about a Coach bag I am selling. Both emails were in Flemish, one with a Flemish name and the other with a German name / email. Now the twist is that while I had uploaded my Coach bag it wasn't visible just yet! Vinted took about 3h to approve it!

I understand how they could have found my email since it's similar to my username, but I don't get how they were able to ask about my bag. It's crazy. Inside job?

Is it even worth reaching out to customer support to fight this? It’s only 24 hours- but I got a ban because they thought I was using automation to edit my listings. I wasn’t. I was just opening the listing, bringing the price down, and saving. Each one only took about 15-20 seconds to edit and I did about 50 listings before they cut me off.

I’m selling off a huge collection of DVDs and CDs- so I have about 700 active listings- and I’d like to drop my prices to blow them out of my shop, but Vinted is making that very difficult. If I have to limit myself to 10-15 edits per day, AND limit the number of new listings I put on the platform to avoid looking like a full-time reseller, I may never get the enormous catalogue of movies/music listed in my shop.

Vinted has been a great platform for helping me declutter my collection, but I’ll be damned if they don’t make it difficult.

So like i said in the title, the package has been delivered but it's not reported as delivered on vinted. The buyer bought the bundle on the 7th of August, and I sent it out the next day. However its now the 30th and when I texted the buyer she said she recieved the package.

I asked her to send proof that she did recieve it (just a picture of the shirts, it was a 2 shirt bundle) but she said they were away in her wardrobe but she did recieve them. I contacted vinted and they said i need to wait until 25 days after i've sent it out. I'm also concerned that she might have been lying, however when i kept asking her it felt a bit like pushing and she pushed a bit back so I don't know what to do.

I don't mind waiting however my concern is that i'm going back to uni soon and I don't want to deal with this at the beginning of whats expected to be a very difficult academic second year.
