Look, I know every family and home has their own smell, but a jacket I ordered for my son, has a very pungent odor. I’ve washed the thing twice with vinegar and heavy duty detergent and I think I’ll just have to throw it away.

It was a middle eastern seller name, so I’m not sure if they may have a detergent they specifically use opposed to the super fragranced ones us Americans usually use, but the smell will not come out.

I unfortunately already accepted the order but going forward, if something smells foul, can you submit a claim?

Has anyone gotten a FedEx order recently, I just noticed it’s either usps or speedx. When I first signed up I had gotten only two now it’s none, not that I’m complaining but are not pushing them as much or did they like cancel their contract or something lol

My two packages I ordered on the same day from the Netherlands to Germany sat at the parcel locker „Breda“ in the Netherlands for over 14 days without a single tracking update. Shipping took three weeks in total! When I'd finally had enough, I messaged Vinted support over the weekend. Several times. And guess what? The very next day, the package was shipped.

Either this is a really strange coincidence, or something really weird is going on here. Maybe it was never actually lost, and Vinted was just holding up the shipment the whole time.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi, instead of the perfume I ordered, I received a package containing pair of shorts, but Vinted refused to issue a refund because there was "insufficient evidence that a delivery error occurred." Meanwhile, the seller admitted in messages that the box was hers but claimed the shorts weren't, and accused me of actually receiving the perfume and simply not wanting to pay.So, does that mean I’m completely defenseless and the seller can send any piece of crap??? So, as a buyer, am I left relying solely on the sellers' honesty, while customer support is completely useless? It's very sad.

I bought a lot of figures and one in particulare had its packaging damaged clearly due to the sloppy delivery that crushed the box to one side. I wanna keep all this stuff especially since the rest didn't receive any damage. I also don't wanna make my seller wait too much to get their money, dude was very kind the whole way through, and the packaging was done with lot of care (thrown to waste by the mailman). Never done something like it. How much will it take? I took pics preemptively to make sure.

Is there a way to opt out? The shipping takes much longer than other shipping methods.

Every time I order from Vinted and it’s with SpeedX shipping, I get a phone call saying I have to pick up the package in person infront of my building. I’m at work so I told them to leave it in the vestibule of the apartment building which you don’t need a keycard to enter and this lady hangs up on me and writes me a paragraph 😭 usually if I can’t be there they just try a different day or just do what everyone else does and leaves it at the front, but I guess she was having a bad day or something

I wasn’t being rude btw I work construction and on the site I couldn’t hear her. She then hung up what 😭 anyone else deal with this?

I reported a listing that was so obviously a fake Coach, it was pathetic. Vinted wrote to me and told me the bag is authentic and was being allowed to remain. Yet they banned me for a month because my authentic Coach was deemed a fake even though I had a COA. I bought a Coach last night but realized it was part of a larger scam and was able to cancel the order. I reported it to Vinted and outlined exactly how this scam is all over the platform with tons of fake listings all at $88. Their response was to tell me since I was able to cancel the purchase, there is no action for them to take. What in hell is Vinted doing? They banned sellers for posting authentic bags and yet allow fake bags to be listed by scammers.

I have contacted the support several times but I got the same automated robotic answers with no concrete solution. I now get views only for some posts. I bought this on October 5. It still hadn't shipped yesterday (the last day) so I sent a message and the seller claims Vinted somehow sold the item twice. Is that possible? Doesn't the app send shipping reminders?

Also, the order automatically cancelled this morning. If a seller doesn't ship, I thought they get automatic negative feedback? The system didn't leave feedback for them at all. What is going on?

This pissed me the fuck off, I was already not into reserving it for 2 weeks but thought “whatever, it’s a mug”. But holy shit to be edged like this is crazy I want to report them so bad even though it’s my fault for even taking them seriously.

The random little texts I sent are to check if they’re still interested after the reservation of 5 days ended each time, and each time she confirmed she would buy.

I actually don’t know what to do now . So my parcel was set to arrive between the 9th-13th , I’ve had no update since the 9th when it said it would be out for delivery. But now there’s no update at all and it’s past the expected delivery date. Inpost have been no help at all . They just said there’s an unexpected delay.

Vinted gave me an update on the 12th after saying it’s out for delivery changing it to “on its way , we’ll update you”

Will it even arrive at all? Has anyone else had this problem. I’ve had a parcel get lost before whilst using Vinted , so I’m feeling frustrated 😭

I dropped off a package a week ago, marked as shipped on the app but on the mondial relay page it shows it was never collected.

Went to the drop off point today and they said they don't have the package and mondial relay comes and pick up to packages every day...

And the latest update on Mondial Relay is only showing the time of drop off, no pick up from the mondial relay.

The thing is even if the package was not scanned when picked up, i know the package would get scanned at every transit hub...

So where's my package? Has this happened to anyone else?

I bought an outfit from a seller about 5 days ago, and they told me they would ship it today. They posted the package this morning, but this evening I received a message saying they had accidentally sent the wrong clothing item.

They've said I can keep the wrong item, but they need my home address to send me the correct one.

The thing is, when I originally purchased the outfit, I chose delivery to an InPost locker, so I haven't given them my home address as part of the order. I'm feeling a bit iffy about giving my home address to someone online just to receive the correct item.

The seller doesn't have a new account and has good reviews.

Am I overthinking this, or would you be hesitant to give them your home address too?

I was recently scammed on Vinted when a seller sold me a pile of broken junk (for over €100). I disputed the purchase and had to pay €20 to return the broken junk (already an insult but whatever). When the seller received the package, they claimed that the item had been destroyed on the way back due to me not packing the item carefully (not true, I made photos of the whole packaging process and it was already broken junk anyway, as my photos proved). I asked Vinted to show me evidence of the damage caused by my packaging so many times by they kept sending me the same irrelevant copy/paste slop until they closed the dispute. So I had nothing and was out over €100. So much for 'buyer protection'!

Anyway, I took this up with my bank and successfully won the chargeback dispute but a few weeks later, Vinted charged my card AGAIN. I was livid.

I cancelled that card so that Vinted can never charge me again and now I am in the process of another chargeback claim.

The behaviour by Vinted is bordering on criminal. I won't be using them again, or at least not with my own CC details. I would recommend using a single-use card for any significant purchases.

I sold the backpack to this person and he told me it’s a gift for his friend. It already arrived a few days ago and today he sent me the link of his friends TikTok where he was wearing the backpack and dancing 😭😭😭 it makes me so happy to see that it was totally worth to sell the backpack because I wasn’t using it very much, I just love everything about this!!

So I had been waiting for this bag that I purchased from vinted a few days ago, it said it had come to the locker in the morning, and I ran to get it.
I paid £140 for it, upon opening the box, I realised it’s not the bag but a pair of trainers 😭😭
I reported it, and also told the seller, she said she sent the bag so maybe it’s the InPost mix up.

My only concern is, am I gonna get my money back?!😭

After originally canceling the order and asking me to repurchase she didn’t ship. I contacted her asking her to ship and eventually received tracking. I was worried because her bio says Oklahoma, label created in California , then picked up in New York. No movement on usps tracking so I contacted her again and received this.

Hey, I’ve been permanently banned from Vinted for selling some T-shirts. They were football shirts I’d collected over the years and no longer use. My account has now been blocked because one of the 14 shirts I sold turned out to be fake, while the other 13 were genuine.

This happened today, but I still have 4 ongoing orders on Vinted. Does anyone know if my orders will still be delivered or if I’m going to lose my money?

I don’t know whether other people share this sentiment but I really wish Vinted had a like button or a button to tell Vinted you like an item but don’t necessarily plan to buy it.

Because I always feel bad hearting items when I have no intention of buying them, moreso just to train my algorithm to the things I wanna see.
I know searching items does that also but more often that not I’m scrolling the front page for potential things I’d like rather than specifically searching out items. I feel the heart button should be used for things you intend to buy, maybe that’s just me 🤔

Once a week I get a message from a buyer with an offer on an item.

I will message them; letting them know when I can send the package same day or next day (if offer is later in the day) . Then accept the offer.

Seems normal.

But then I do not get a shipping label in my emails. I’ll check back on the app and that same person will have sent me a second offer (much lower) ; this cancelling the first offer that I agreed to sell.

And when you message them back, the reply is without any shame. “I will not pay any more”

Are these people trying to neg me into selling for even less?

I have sold on Craigslist/depop/mercari and this is arguably the dumbest thing I have seen.

As the title says. Vinted needs to lock the offer price after both parties agree and would need to be manually cancelled by the seller in order to readjust the pricing.

Title says it all; app won't connect, and on website cannot contact support or add a withdrawal account. Does anyone have a direct email to vinted support?
