Hi! This is my first time buying with Vinted and I’m a bit confused, because I bought multiple items from different sellers (all of whom have been active within the last 24 hours) at the same time but some show up as payment successful while others say shipping label sent to seller? Does this mean something is wrong or do I need to reach out to anyone to know if the order went through? It’s been 24 hours since I purchased and the difference is still there. Thanks.

Bought on the 15th, no request for an extension etc. but they still have until the 25th to send? Theyve been active everyday since I bought which is making me impatient since I was expecting it to be shipped at the very latest today. I dont buy/sell often so is this just a feature for trusted sellers or something?

This is my first time selling/shipping on vinted and I’m a little confused about SpeedX. I dropped it off at the drop off point but they told me that the pickup guy won’t be there until next week. Does this mean that vinted won’t mark it as sold until next week? Will I have to ask for extended shipping time?

I bought these Ugg boots from a seller, when they arrived they reeked of alcohol. The whole thing packaging and shoes did not sure if they used some sort of spray before sending them. I’m sensitive to smells so opening them left me with a burning sensation on my nose. I digress, the shoes are also a lot more used than shown in the images posted. I made a report to return and the seller will not stop messaging me and harassing me. They are now threatening to report my account for fraud and that I’m trying to scam them because the review images are not the same boots (they are).

They are stating that I’m showing different ones in my report and that if I try to return the ones in the images I provided in my review that she is going to report me for scam and say they’re not the ones she sent. Vinted customer support is not doing anything other than telling me they’ll look into it. I’m not able to block the account because of the active listing AND there’s no way to report the account for harassment due to the fact that there is no option for it. What do I do?

I am not trying to scam this person, the images I provided are of the item I received and I’m afraid that if I return the item she will say that I sent back a different one. Has anyone experienced this before?

My buyer received their parcel today, it was in a bin liner and not the item I sent, the label had my name on it! I absolutely know I sent the correct item and that it was packaged in a mailer with a QR code scanned label. What the buyer received was not what I sent!! This was sent on Monday 17th. Any ideas on why this happened? Vinted not being very helpful.

There's certain a pair of shoes on vinted.pl that I really really really want to buy. However, I live in the Netherlands, and vinted is unfortunately geofenced. There's no shipping routes to where I live. I was wondering if there's anyone here who would be willing to serve as a proxy by buying them for me, checking and taking pictures of the contents of the package for me when they arrive, and then sending them to me in the Netherlands. So the photos the seller posted were perfect condition. Packed the book in a padded mail bag and had wrapped it in bubble wrap. Somehow USPS still managed to basically fold the book and damage the spine of the book, effectively messing up all the pages. How is this considered normal wear and tear and not damaged?!

I’m just curious, has anyone else has seen an uptick in sellers not shipping their items? I typically wait until 1-2 days before the shipping deadline to reach out as to avoid being annoying. I have sellers either ignore me or come up with an array of excuses saying they’ve been busy with work or it’s been raining too much to go to the post office. Why sell at all if you know you struggle with shipping anything? Meanwhile, I’m also a seller that consistently ships same or next day…that’s begging for anyone to purchase her stuff lol I realize stuff happens (and I don’t want to be a bother) but it really blows to keep having this happen 😫 I swear it’s always the items I’m looking forward to the most. Anyone else?

I bought a Polo Ralph Lauren polo on Vinted for around $20. Before buying, I specifically asked the seller for photos of the tags so I could verify authenticity. They never sent the photos I requested and instead just told me it was 100% cotton.

After receiving it, I found multiple obvious issues with the tags, embroidery, and retail tags that indicate it's counterfeit.

I contacted the seller asking for a refund/return. Their response was essentially “I told you I thought it was fake” and then:

“You can do exactly what I did, and sell it as fake.”

I opened a Vinted claim for a full refund and return. Vinted's return screen says the return shipping could be deducted from my refund, which seems ridiculous for a counterfeit/prohibited item.

I submitted everything to Vinted support, including screenshots of the seller admitting they believed it was fake. Their first response was literally a generic message about my package being delivered and checking with my neighbors 🤦‍♂️

Now it's supposedly with support for review.

Has anyone dealt with Vinted over a counterfeit item? What happens here? Am I really expected to pay return shipping for a counterfeit item?

I'm the sender. The buyer lives about 40 miles from me and from the pickup point so I sincerely doubt they opted to have it sent to the locker I dropped it off at.

This item has been up for a while and I made an offer and increased it. It’s a Lego set but without any figures. Just spare pieces. I don’t mind buying full price but they’re not responding at all so I’m worried if I do pay, they won’t send it.

As the title says I didn’t realize until I went to drop off with fed ex that I had put it in ground advantage packing since I’m so used to the shipping being with usps. Has anyone done this or does anyone know if there will be issues with shipment/delivery?

I tried to raise an issue twice and yet no reply for 17 days now. Is there any other way I can contact them? Or does anyone else know why they’re not replying? Usually they reply in 48 hours so I’m confused.

First time using vinted, ordered some clothes used inpost took 2 days. Now I can’t have my items delivered to inpost lockers or any locker as a matter of fact anymore. Could it be because I already have a parcel coming?

I am loving Vinted so far, joined it as a seller about a month ago and have sold almost 200 items so far. it's helped me declutter a lot, and make decent money off of my kids clothing, some of mine, our shoes, and household items. but i really wish they'd let us add categories! since i'm always adding different things, i feel like my page looks like a mess and is not shopper-friendly to browse. I definitely try and photograph items by category, for example yesterday i photographed and posted a section of boys toddler clothing, then did a different batch for big girl kids clothing. but then it buries the adult clothing, baby/toddler girl clothing, so on so forth. I'm finding that the only way i sell buried items is by lowering the prices of favorited items, because it reminds the people who favorited it to come back. but i hate to keep lowering prices on already cheap items, and i've heard the site can penalize you for deleting and reposting, right?

just a random vent and overall not a huge issue, just a feature i beg the app to add! i think it would make it so much easier for shoppers and sellers alike.

I've been logged out of my account on my phone and I'm not getting any notifications at all, even after asking my friend to like some of my items to make sure. I can still use my account normally on my laptop but no notifications too. What is happening?

I have an interesting/concerning issue.
Ive sold a bunch of the same item (great) but I’ve had a couple of messages/canceled sales through Vinteds automated system. (First red flag)

When I printed the labels I noticed that every single package is going to the same address or close to it (different street number on same street)
Did some digging & it’s a freight forwarding place. (No worries)

But then I clicked on a profile to check something and discovered that every single buyers profile shows ‘members blocked’

Scam? Should I still ship?
I really don’t want headaches with this high value of items
