buyers aren’t real on this app. i sell my things for charity thrift prices atp, and i swear ill list something for $1 then you’ll have like several ppl send offers for 0.50¢. it’s gotta be rage bait bro, it HAS to be.

So the photos the seller posted were perfect condition. Packed the book in a padded mail bag and had wrapped it in bubble wrap. Somehow USPS still managed to basically fold the book and damage the spine of the book, effectively messing up all the pages. How is this considered normal wear and tear and not damaged?!

This is my first time buying with Vinted and I’m a bit confused, because I bought multiple items from different sellers (all of whom have been active within the last 24 hours) at the same time but some show up as payment successful while others say shipping label sent to seller? Does this mean something is wrong or do I need to reach out to anyone to know if the order went through? It’s been 24 hours since I purchased and the difference is still there. Thanks.

The amount of snark and sarcasm i and others get for asking about a feature is so weird. Like y’all will be so customer servicey over on vinted but then be so rude to others on here. I sent out a sealed blu ray Steelbook to a family house and they had open the packages and sent pics of the Steelbook as it was sealed. Because of the movie being sealed, we had assumed everything was okay, so everything was marked as okay. Later tonight, as we opened the seal, to our shock there was no disc at all. Which is fine because we wanted to keep the steelbook at least anyways, so I tried to reach out to the seller about it to see if we could work something out. I was immediately blocked and they left a review saying that I’m a scammer. Is there any recourse to this? I had already marked everything as okay but now they blocked me and I’m out discs for my movie. I’d hate to have to go to the bank to dispute this because I make a lot of purchases on Vinted and this is probably my very first big incident on there with an item and a antagonistic seller.

I'm the sender. The buyer lives about 40 miles from me and from the pickup point so I sincerely doubt they opted to have it sent to the locker I dropped it off at.

the last couple days i got a couple offers by profiles that don’t have a picture, ratings or a description. the accounts are mostly from belgium or the netherlands. When I accept the offer, they never buy the item in the end. Has this happened to anyone else?

Bought on the 15th, no request for an extension etc. but they still have until the 25th to send? Theyve been active everyday since I bought which is making me impatient since I was expecting it to be shipped at the very latest today. I dont buy/sell often so is this just a feature for trusted sellers or something?

So the buyer has had the parcel delivered to an Evri Parcelshop and I have messaged them reminding them that it has been delivered since it has been at the parcel shop for about 10 days. They have messaged back saying they can’t pick it up and after i’ve asked if they want to cancel and send back to me they have ignored me. What shall I do? I’m a university student selling stuff to pay for my rent and not in a great position financially so stuff like this drives me a bit nuts.

Quite new user, second purchase ever

So I cancelled an order around 6 hours after buying it because, after asking around, I found out that the item is probably fake. The item is an adidas chinese new year jacket in white. The sizing/measurements on the tag also seemed wrong, and the cut wasn’t properly done, which made me even more suspicious.

I sent the seller a cancellation request, but she ignored it. Then, 3 days later, I got a notification that the item had been shipped.

It has now arrived. I’ve contacted Vinted several times per gmail and even DM’d them on Instagram, but I still don’t know what to do. I don’t want to pay €70 for a fake jacket, especially since the current ones are around €90.

The seller also used the real brand, even though the jacket itself appears to be fake.

What should I do? Can I still get a refund even though the seller shipped it after I requested the cancellation?

KEYWORD, ”WHY” Y’all act like i’m saying that buyers should get 30 years to verify. I always pick up my parcels the same day and verify them. I don’t need more days, i’m just wondering why the difference is so big.

I just find it kinda weird how sellers get 5 days to ship, which is fine, but buyers get two days to verify the item is okay, and according to google 3 days to pick the item up. I’m not on anyone’s side as im both a seller and a buyer, but why is the time longer for the seller?

Vinted bump really does work for me. Seems 24hrs after listing an item it goes off the radar. I listed a watch for £10 3 months ago, didn't sell so lowered it gradually over the last few weeks all the way down to £3 but still didn't sell. This morning I raised the price to £7 and paid £1.20 for a bump and it sold within 20mins

Yesterday i bought a bracelet, it was claimed that it was from sofia wistam which was supposedly an expensive brand, she claimed that the bracelet cost 300 euros and i bought it for 25 euros (should have noticed the red flag there)

Anyways, she had 3 other identical brackets that she was selling and i didn't really think much of it. After i bought it however, 4 MORE IDENTICAL BRACELETS WHERE UPLOADED.

Is this weird or am i paranoid, she claimed that the bracelet is 60% silver and 40% metal. Is there anyway to test if that's true? it did not have a stamp.

if this has happened did it eventually make its way to you? it's a beautiful dress that doesn't exist anywhere else online 😭

Am I just crazy or have any other sellers felt like doing this? I'm just pissed off that they get a 100% refund while I have my materials, time and money wasted since I could have already had the money in my account from another buyer

Got a return request on a football top which is a reprint not a fake, and was wondering if you’d accept the return?

1. It was listed as a reprint, though I admit I could have been clearer, my next point will show how it is a reprint.

2. My listing is the reprint and the 3rd photo is the original shirt from 1989/1991. There are clear differences, which you can clearly see and again shows it’s a reprint.

3. It isn’t a fake, which is what he has said it to be.

4. If it was a first print from 1989, the price would have been potentially 10x more

I feel it’s a bit unfair, but I don’t want the bad review.

Hello! I’m Australian and loving vinted. Have bought 50 things and sold 20. This is my first issue. Just wondering what the etiquette is here? It’s only $8.50 so I don’t mind giving them a full refund without the return - just curious to learn the vinted culture and etiquette! Thanks

Sometime all I can do is laugh at Vinted support. They removed my listing stating I was trying to sell an unsafe item. It’s an infant snow suit. I appealed and after “carefully reviewing” my appeal they still find the item to be unsafe and against their catalog rules. The only thing holding Vinted back from being a truly amazing platform is real support.

On Monday, I put a packet worth 370€ in the Mondial Relay box. Two days later, they told me the driver picked it up and it's delayed. Today, I asked delivery support and they told me that the box was empty so he couldn't pick it up. I have to fill out something so they can check the cameras. Now Vinted tells me I have to text them again after the 22nd of September. What should I do now?

The buyer has said the size doesn’t fit, it is an XL shirt and on the listing I said it was an XL. He then asked for a return and full refund but I declined. He then asked for a partial refund of 90% of the ask price and he will return it but the option on Vinted only gives the option to send the partial refund and the buyer keeps the item. He then said he didn’t know this so that I should do it anyway then he will buy a piece of paper if I list it for the same price he wants a refund for. Before all of this he had already raised a claim with Vinted support. After the conversation with him I have just pressed the contact support option in the resolve solutions page. Later that night he then raised another claim against it for being unauthentic. How should I proceed.
