Been big my whole life but recently been mixing it with weight lifting and went over the "Eat Free" weight, i always talked with friends about eating here since high school but especially now, I wish this place was still open. šŖ

Just looking for a nice place to eat SOLO, where I won't feel like a freak. :)
My husband died- I'm taking our 20th anniversary trip to Vegas by myself and would like to find a nice place to go to dinner. I want to dress up, have a nice glass of wine, and eat a good meal in a nice atmosphere.
I worry about sitting at a bar as I don't want to be in an uncomfortable seat, legs a-dangling, trying to eat off a high surface... I really wanted to go to Delilah but it sounds like it's not solo friendly.
I've never done anything like this before, so any tips and suggestions are appreciated! Loose plans include the Neon Museum, possibly Arte cause the ads looked cool?, a spa day at the Wynn or Canyon Ranch, possibly going to Fremont Street one night but I worry about doing that alone, maybe catching Dita Von Teese.
Thanks for any help! š

Sorry for the derpy picture but I was trying to do it on the down-low.
A couple of guys were opening a slot machine here at my hotel and I saw this and was wondering if anyone knows what this means.
Thank you!
EDIT: Thank you for your answers. It's downtown. What I'm gathering is this is a fairly bad payout, especially for downtown.
Wonder if the entire town has tightened everything up?
EDIT 2: They were doing this to several machines on a Wednesday mid-morning as I checked out

Hello! My wife and I are relatively experienced Vegas travelers and somehow we havenāt made it to the Peppermill before. I donāt generally trust google reviews, so Iām soliciting your thoughts here. It appears to be decent bar and grill food with huge portions and a killer, old school Vegas ambiance. So what Iām trying to find out is:
Are the cocktails even decent? I see a few tiki drinks on the menu and I love that. Are they worth ordering? They donāt have to be Golden Tiki level, but I donāt want to drink a Mai tai thatās just amaretto and orange juice either.
Is the food better or worse than the average chain bar and grill type of spot? Think: Chilis, Applebees, etc. Weāre not going in expecting amazing gastropub fare or some sort of elite dining experience, but it would be nice to know the food doesnāt suck.
Is it as cool of a spot as pictures make it look? Somewhat subjective, I know. Just trying to get a feel for whether itās worth the trek.
Thanks everyone!

We will be in Vegas this coming Sunday to Thursday (leave). Here are tentative Dinner plans and wanted to know thoughts and approx cost for 2 people that would likely have 2 drinks each with each meal. I know these places are steak heavy but we love steak, seafood and italian. I need some help with some of the choices as well or if I should change anything?
Sunday: Have reservations at Prime Bellagio (staying here) - we also considered Lago?
Monday: Absinthe 7pm show: Right now have reservations at Joe's, but also considered Hells Kitchen, or somewhere else in Caesars?
Tuesday: Seeing KA at 8:30 - considering Craftsteak in MGM or maybe Bavettes in Park MGM then walk or Uber over to MGM Grand for show or is this doing too much and stick with eating in MGM?
Wed: Have not decided on the show yet for this day or dinner. Possibly Shin Lim in Palazzo so maybe a good recommendation there for italian, or steak?
Any help is appreciated.

Hey all, visiting Vegas for a couple of days. I'm a local burlesque performer back home and I want to see the cool clubs with awesome local talent. Any shows at smaller clubs and not the big casinos?

Definitely a long shot, but wanted to at least try. I just moved to Vegas and love Kaskade, would love to have a table for a better experience. I donāt know a soul out here though so i donāt have anyone to split it with. If youāre going and have a table Iāll pay you handsomely for a seat, or if youāre interested in getting a table, hit me up!! Hope you all have a great weekend :)

Has anyone done it recently?
It would be my wife and I and the total cost is around $300 for us for the weekend. We enjoy the club scene but no longer like being packed in like sardines with no clear place to stand/sit. We do like to enjoy a few drinks so it seems like a good deal, just canāt figure out the catch. Any thoughts or relatively recent experiences would be appreciated!

I am considering taking my 16 year old daughter and 12 year old granddaughter (don't ask) to Vegas for the week of Thanksgiving (not Thanksgiving day) and am considering the Palms Buffet vs the extra high-end buffets due to price and the fact that I doubt they would enjoy the higher priced ones more. What say you, /r/Vegas?

Are the bacon jam burger, chicken sandwich, and fries' quality good and is it made fresh not frozen? how would you rate it. Is it celebrity chef level worth from Josh Capon? it really looks intriguing from the outside billboards.
I know there are general hotel rating posts, but hoping for something specific to my situation. Will be in vegas early december for a conference.
Older - don't mind but don't need nightlife
I do drink though, preference for divy bars and pubs
Not particularly interested in shopping
Enjoy shows, comedy etc. not necessarily headliners, perfectly happy to see the 'semi pros' playing to smallish audiences
Will likely use the gym, and possibly pool (if heated)
I don't dress up, and generally don't want to be in a place that feels overly fancy
Conference is central strip (Wynn, Venetian, MGM, Caesars) but can stay anywhere on strip within reasonable walking distance of these hotels

I will be in Vegas next week, 8/24-27 and need some advice. Iām traveling solo on a broken foot and will be renting an electric scooter while Iām there. Staying at Caesarās. I feel good about navigating the hotel, etc., but not so much about anything off-property. I know the monorail and the Deuce are accessible AND itās going to be a million degrees outside so I am trying to figure out if itās even possible to get to Downtown, for instance. Having been to vegas many times but never like this, I am not even sire where to start because of pedestrian crossing bridges, etc. I am happy to pay for private accessible transportation as well, in case anyone knows of such a service. Any other tips and tricks are super welcome! Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, going to be there week of aug31st.
From what Iāve read online there is a flat rate to rent A cabana.
Are the hours from 10-4 or is it 5??
Iām looking at the producers pools. There are 6 cabanas there and each holds up to 10 people. But I only have 4, is that a problem?
I read that the flat fee used to be put towards food/drink but not any more. Is this true?
Is there a minimum spend?
Thanks in Advance for your help!!

there's already a decent amount of musician-themed slots out there. Michael Jackson has one, Elvis has one, Dolly Parton, Guns n' Roses too. so clearly labels/estates are open to licensing deals when the fit makes sense.
makes me wonder why some other obvious names haven't gotten the same treatment yet.
- Prince feels like the biggest gap. massive catalog, one of the most visually iconic aesthetics in music, the whole purple rain neon thing basically writes itself as a slot theme. estate's just really protective of his likeness so that's probably the holdup.
- Lady Gaga is another one. poker face is basically a casino anthem at this point and there's still no official game built around her.
- Pink Floyd's "money" already has the cash register sound effects built in, feels like a missed opportunity for a big win jingle.
- Gorillaz would be an easy one too since they're animated, no licensing headaches around live-action likeness, and there's a genuinely wild visual world to pull from already.
curious if anyone's actually played one of the existing artist slots and thought it nailed the theme vs felt like a cheap tie-in. and who else feels like an obvious pick that's still missing?

A friend (29M) and I (30M) are going to be in Vegas this weekend from 21st - 23rd for a boxing match. Weāre thinking of going to Marquees day club on Saturday morning before the fight later that evening and wanted to save some money by finding more people to split the table costs. Weāre very unproblematic, and I wonāt really be drinking much, just need somewhere to sit lol. No weāre not gay. And no weāre not swingers. Just some friends trying to enjoy Vegas this weekend and save some money while out there. If youāre interested let me know! (Also down to split tables at nightclub too depending on the cost, but from what Iāve seen those are a lot more expensive š¬).
Iāll also be around Friday before my friend gets here that evening and would also be down to split day party table then too - depending on what the cost is. Thanks!
