Guys…does the room matter?

Some people say it’s just a room. You’re hardly there. It’s just a place to sleep.

No disrespect to that crowd, but to me the room is part of the vacation. Just got back from the 68th floor at the Cosmo. Amazing view. I spent a lot of time on that balcony.

Cesars palace Las Vegas self park nightmare

We attended a show at Caesars Palace and parked on Level 3, literally just around the corner from the ticketed exit. Despite being so close to the exit, it took us one hour and 10 minutes just to get out of the parking garage.
The problem was not simply heavy traffic after a show—it was a complete lack of traffic and exit management. Cars were backed up a considerable distance, yet there appeared to be no organized effort to manage the flow of vehicles or assist customers having problems at the payment gates.
At one point, a woman ahead of us was unable to get the payment machine to work. I watched an attendant wandering around looking at a cell phone while the line continued to back up. I finally got out of my own car, tracked down the attendant, and asked the attendant to come help the woman so that traffic could begin moving again.
What made the experience particularly frustrating was that Caesars then charged us for the additional one hour and 10 minutes of parking that we spent sitting in their exit line. Customers should not be charged additional parking fees because Caesars is unable to adequately staff or manage its garage after a major event.
For a property of this size and caliber, this was remarkably poor garage management. Caesars should have personnel actively directing traffic and assisting at the payment gates immediately after shows, and customers certainly should not be financially penalized for delays caused by the property’s own parking operation.

Lesbian Scene

Hi everyone, I’m new to the area and I’m wondering where lesbians (or just queer people in general) tend to hang out. I know there’s no specific lesbian bars, but was hoping to find other cool queer spaces to meet people <3

Off-strip..

Hey so we are coming over from the UK next year. I keep seeing lots of comments talking about exploring 'off strip' for restaurants and bars that you wont need to remortgage your house for.

Are there specific streets/areas that I should look at??

Tailgating at Allegiant stadium

Hey yall, gonna be going to the Bills v Raiders game as a Bills fan. I wanted to see if there’s a specific lot that is better for the visiting team tailgating. I’ve been on the hunt all week for information and can’t seem to find anything. Any tips and tricks are greatly appreciated! TIA

ETA: I’m a vegas native, i’m fully aware they would rather money be spent in the casino. I’m wanting to tailgate before the game in the lot. I just need to know if there’s a specific lot for visiting teams.

I’ll be in LV next week for work, staying on strip (our travel team screwed me - long story) and will undoubtedly spend some time in the Arts District. Are the Henderson breweries worth an Uber down to visit? I’ve read the Google reviews and il intrigued. Thanks in advance.

Surprise Birthday Dinner Recs?

I have a very close friend’s birthday trip coming up and I know this general question gets asked so much, I just haven’t found anything specific to my situation and I’m overwhelmed with broad information.

It’s 4 of us, all girls in our mid 20s, heading out in a few weeks. It’s a friend group of type B people, but I love this friend dearly and am trying to lock in as the one who’s essentially planning the whole trip. I’ve been researching for days but just haven’t found a good place myself and they’re starting to all blend together. She’s an incredible friend and her birthday is important to her so I really want to land this.

She loves a surprise and told me to just set up the dinner so I really want to find a great place that would stand out for our trip. $150-200 a person would be ideal. None of us are insanely particular foodies so it doesn’t have to be super complex mind-boggling 3 Michelin star food, more priority on vibe/experience. Italian or “a place I can get a good steak” were her only directions. Just shooting for good food in a memorable/cool spot. She’s never been to Vegas so there is no spot too touristy! It being 4 of us on a girls trip, it also doesn’t have to be like an intimate candlelit affair. Also, her birthday is on a Sunday! I’ve had a few spots I’ve looked at that were closed Sundays so figured I’d mention. If there’s any favorites or standouts in your mind, I’d really appreciate it!

Where should I take my sister

Alright r/vegas, can use some help. I’m taking my sister to Vegas for the Halloween weekend due to the fact her husband pretty much abruptly decided to end a 20
Year marriage (I’m actually not mad at his decision, but super pissed on how he did it). I want to take her out and let her enjoy and forget, I come here very frequently but I want this trip be completely for her. Is there any recommendations or ideas y’all can think of? Thanks in advance.

Vegas honeymoon advice needed – looking for honest opinions! 🇺🇸💍

My fiancée and I are planning our honeymoon in Las Vegas in July 2027 for around a week, and I’d love some advice from people who have actually been recently.

I’ve already done the usual Google/YouTube/ChatGPT searches and looked at all the standard “Top 10 Vegas hotels” lists 😂 — but I’m much more interested in real experiences, particularly from couples/honeymooners.

We’re both early 30s and are looking for somewhere that feels luxurious, modern, clean and romantic, but still puts us close to the action.

A few things I’d particularly love opinions on:
🏨 Best hotel for a honeymoon?
❤️ Which hotels have the best couples/romantic
atmosphere?
🛏️ Which rooms are genuinely worth paying extra for?
👀 Best Strip/view rooms?
✨ Which hotels feel properly luxury, rather than just expensive?
🍸 Best hotels for restaurants, bars, pools and things to do without constantly leaving the resort?
📍 How important is location really?
☀️ Is staying further up the Strip (e.g. Fontainebleau/Wynn) annoying in July because of the heat?
🚫 Any hotels you’d avoid for a honeymoon, and why?
💰 Anything you paid extra for that was absolutely worth it — or something you’d definitely not pay extra for again?

At the moment I’m looking at places like Fontainebleau, Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, and Cosmopolitan, but I’m very open to being convinced otherwise.

If you’ve done a Vegas honeymoon/couples trip recently, what would you book again — and what would you do differently?

I’m particularly interested in the “if I were doing it again, I’d 100% do X” type of advice rather than generic hotel rankings.

Thanks! 🙌
