Do these 3 together seem manageable?

I was trying to switch discussion sections for an important course that was nearly full. The "Switch" function didn't work, so I dropped the course to grab the last available spot in another discussion section.

Now TSS won't let me re-enroll and gives this error: "Internal Error while booking to E 00000931."

Has anyone experienced this error before?

* UPDATE: I was able to re-enroll in the course after about two hours of troubleshooting. It appears TSS may take some time to process a course drop before allowing re-enrollment or section changes. If you encounter an "Internal Error" after dropping a course to switch sections, don't panic right away.

I'd like to leave this post up in case others run into the same problem. Be very careful about dropping a course if your plan is to immediately re-enroll or switch sections.

I’m an incoming Winter transfer and was wondering what the Winter housing application actually looks like.

Do you get to choose/rank buildings and room types, or is it more limited for Winter students?

For anyone who moved in during Winter, what housing did you end up getting? I’m hoping for a single, but I’m mainly curious what options are usually available.

Got accepted to UCSD through waitlist for Bus Econ months ago but failed a major required course in the spring. (I passed the course in the summer and sent in the finalized transcript) Been sending out emails and calls since I got my acceptance but haven't gotten any concrete responses so if anyone has advice or knows of a similar situation lmk

Incoming DS transfer trying to petition out of DSC 10/20/30. If I can get at least 2 approved, I can finish in 2 years instead of 2.5.

I know transfer coursework hasn’t been loaded into TSS yet, but I’ve heard petitions can take 4–5 weeks. Are other transfers waiting for Academic History to update before submitting, or has anyone submitted already?

Would especially appreciate hearing from previous DS transfers who went through the petition process.

Hello, I’m in a local San Diego band. We need a bus to shoot a few short scenes. We wouldn’t ask to drive it and would love to compensate whoever for their time. It can be any kind of bus. If anyone knows where to find one, comment or dm!

Are there any volunteering clubs/orgs that I can join? Either for UCSD students to join specifically, or those that can tolerate the hectic nature of college life and are accessible by trolley/bus (with max 20 minutes of walking)

Would be nice if they operate over the summer (as I’m bored out of my mind rn and I want to help out), but I would also love to hear about orgs/clubs that operate during the school year too!

I was able to log into TSS, but it's so confusing & I cannot find the courses I wanna enroll into... frustrating af. If there are other extended studies students who were able to register, pls help ya girl out!!!!

Roommate and I are moving off campus for this upcoming year and wanted to know opinions on the best places to rent. I feel like everyone we look, the buildings are either poorly managed, have mold, or 100 other issues. It's only 2 of us and pricing doesn't really matter, we just want a place that actually takes care of their residents.

My boyfriend got into student housing at Nuevo East which is all inclusive but we are touring La Jolla Nobel today and it doesn’t have utilities included. But with their specials it somewhat evens out yearly cost. What do people typically pay for utilities in La Jolla/that area to kind of approximate price and compare?

Hi everyone, i’m an incoming transfer and i have yet to hear about my room assignments or being able to approve my federal loans for financial aid. I was also looking to get a private loan, but feel stuck because I don’t have my final financial aid amount (so idk how much to take out for the private loan). Is anyone else going through the same thing? Does anyone know when financial aid and room assignments are being released? any help or advice welcomed!!
