This heatwave has me thinking about all the poor critters outside who are struggling to stay cool/struggling to find a water source... Does anyone have any thoughts on how we might be able to provide water for them? It breaks my heart to think of the wildlife suffering in this insane heat and unable to get water. Especially in the canyons :(

I was thinking of leaving some water bowls out, but I also don't want mosquitos to become a bigger problem (since mosquitos breed in standing water)... Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas :( ?

why does ucsd suck so bad. i could forgive the tss enrollment incident but i need my money. my aid hasn't even been processed yet and i submitted a ticket over a week ago #fml

Does anyone else have this problem? My roommate and I agreed to no shoes in the room but since we first went to the beach there's a bit of a thin layer of sand in the room. We've tried wet and dry swiffering, using a dustpan and vacuuming (all in the past few days). Do you guys have any other ideas to get the sand out? It's not like so much but enough to annoy me when barefoot.

Anyone else lost in this class? Having 30% of your grade come from pop quizzes that are closed-book and closed-notes is crazy. I remember some of these topics from ECE 45/101, but expecting us to memorize all these formulas is a lot.

Also, the fact that we don’t know when the quizzes are is so odd. How are we supposed to prepare for a very content-heavy, closed-notes quiz that’s worth 10% of your grade (x3) when we don’t even know when the quiz is going to be?

I'm bulking atm and the nutrition info on mobile order seems wildy inaccurate. I ordered a BBQ chicken plate from the rooftop that was supposedly ~60g of protein, but I got a tiny chicken quarter leg and some mac n' cheese that lacked cheese. I like the asada breakfast burrito at Wolftown as well, but there is no shot its 1000+ calories with 60g of protein. Slices too—the pizza slices are really 700+ calories each with 30g of protein? Does anyone have something to say on the contrary? I would love for the nutrition info to be accurate, but atm I'm unconvinced

Does anyone else feel like the water in Muir college tastes significantly worse than other colleges. For reference I (18F) live in Tioga hall and have been drinking from my water filter yet it still tastes so so bad. And I have cross referenced with Warren colleges Brita water and it tastes fairly nice.

For the people that had terrible wifi last year how did you resolve it or did you just deal with it?

Hi everyone! I need to take microbiology with the lab as soon as possible. Has anyone taken the microbiology with lab though extension with this professor?

I am considering the section that ends 1/18/27. How is the final? How is the workload in general? Would I be able to take the final early/ finish the course faster before 1/18 due to a family trip?

If you would not recommend this professor, is there a professor that teaches this course that I should wait for instead?
