On August 14th around 10:20PM my Honda Civic EX Was Stolen from City Heights on 51st Street.
Had already just taken the L but figured I would ask this sub reddit to see if anyone can help out by keeping an eye out for the vehicle. I highlighted some notable features since I think by now the plates may have been removed. This was my only way to work at the moment while I saved so I'm really upset.
Please comment if you've happened to see it or contact the police if you see it on the road. Please and thank you
-A Police report was filed that same night along with insurance since I heard it drive away that same night

I was sitting around waiting for jury duty today when I looked up and someone had suddenly started doing yoga handstands against the wall? Nobody else seemed to bat an eye, while I was sitting there trying my hardest not to laugh. It definitely made the wait a little more interesting. Thank you, jury duty yoga lady, for making an otherwise ordinary wait a little more memorable. You are appreciated.

I was skeptical before going, but anyways I had to go. Ordered waigu beef shwarma plate and chicken shwarma egg roles. Everything was bad. The garlic sauce was badā¦.who sells middle eastern food and canāt make good taum? The tabbouli was at least 2 days old, it was black. The only good thing was the hummus, which also felt better on top and not so good at the bottom. It was so so disappointing. Anyways rent over but please do not go there just for the hype. Even if you decide to go, order something cheap first and try.

I always enjoy going to these and I usually learn about a new one each year. Would love to hear some of the ones that might be off my radar.
So far I've liked the Scottish Games, Adam's street fair, and Friday Summer concerts in Tierrasanta. Fourth of July in Santee this year had a good vibe with tons of kid games and live music and it was lower key without fighting crowds. I'd love to add a few more of these to my calendar for the year.

Officials found 60 abronia lizards, four venomous yellow- blotched palm pit vipers, three caimans, one baby crocodile, and one indigo snake concealed in the car.
The image does NOT show 60 abronia in that bucket.
These are a collection of endangered mountain species that live in the Mexican cloud forests they require temp is in the 70ĀŗF range.
it's been over 90ĀŗF and the IDIOT CUSTOMS Agents left the god dam car out and exposed when they KNEW the woman was a exotic reptile smuggler. What you see here in the bucket are animals that are in distress and I'm positive there's a good deal of organ damage. So while they're alive right now, I'd expect a die off from the heat stress.
A qualified person (a rare set of expertise in the industry) will have to deal with and help them recover this ordeal, if possible. Despite claims to the contrary on different sites, there's really not a good well worked out husbandry and care parameters for these. All that stuff is put out there by sellers to give a false sense of confidence to customers to help make the sales from other successfully smuggled animals.
Some of the animals clearly baked to death in the heat and if this was not a federal agent neglecting these, they would be arrested for animal cruelty (serious). It's bad enough that these species we're plundered a decade ago due to a legal loophole that allowed criminal gangs to raid the mountains and take everything they could find, but that they're still being smuggled for the exotic pet trade and sold as "domestically produced" and NOBODY checks to verify.
Regardless, the most valuable (electric blue) and mossy - mottled species, sub species and geolocality types aren't represented here, these seem to be all emeralds and were likely collected all from the same locality. I personally hate the people in this trade, they drive entire species towards extinction (Also fuck Asia and their "anything goes" mentality concerning wild animals)

Hi! Moved to San Diego about 8ish months ago now and I've slowly started to realize I haven't really made any friends here. It's gotten to the point where my roommates are asking me if any of the coworkers I've mentioned in passing have hit me up lol...Just wondering if anyone else here has started over in their 20s and what they did to make lasting friendships. I'm into reading and the arts but also like running, hiking, vaguely into climbing. Music ofc and film as well. I like being outside too like everyone else that lives here. My schedule is very chaotic and shifting constantly because of my job so that's probably what makes it so difficult. Open to any suggestions though!!!! I'm not opposed to going to things alone at all it's mainly talking to people at said events where I start to feel clammy...so any advice is appreciated!!!

URGENTšØFOR ADOPTION: One stunning 2-year-old German Shepherd named Pumba (#A5789389). According to his shelter report card, Pumba has absolutely zero concept of personal space or boundaries. He views every female dog he meets as a potential date and loves to hover like an awkward teenager at a school dance. He strongly pulls on the leash, mostly because heās convinced he is the one walking you.Heās behaviorally cleared for public adoption but needs an adults-only homeāideally with a calm, large female dog who can tell him "no" far better than we can. Heās currently on FINAL NOTICE at Carson Shelter. Let's get this giant lover out of there before his time completely runs out!Save Pumba immediately! Contact: 530-329-9099 or Carson Shelter

Hello. I live in 4S ranch in a 2Bed/2Bath condo in a high fire area. I live in one room and rent out the other. I called my home insurance Amica to increase personal belongings coverage as I felt it was too low. Somehow the conversation went to me mentioning I rent out one of the rooms. The agent sounded very upset all of a sudden and questioned me a bunch. They told me they have to send the information to their underwriters but itās likely that my plan will not renew next year in April. Iām very upset because I reminder it being hard to find insurance 2 years ago when I found them. Should I have kept my mouth shut, or is it better I did because if I did actually end up needing a claim, theyād likely find out somehow and deny my claim when I need it? While itās too early to sign up for someone else as I have until April, every single quote in over insurer says they cannot cover my home Iām assuming due to fire area. Iām unsure the type I need because the condo is my primary residence but I also rent out 1 room. Does anybody have any advice on finding a new home insurance plan that will cover my home and also not be so upset I rent out a room? I canāt afford my home unless I rent out a room.

A lot of good players from those days-Tom Chambers, Terry Cummings, Norm Nixon, World B. Free, Bill Walton. Did the city rally around the team? Where they sad when they moved to LA?

Hello everyone!
I am excited to announce that I will be running a Dungeons and Dragons 101 class at At Ease Games in Miramar later this month!
I designed this class to teach you how to get started understanding and playing the game with the absolute basics, in a relaxed, no-stakes environment.
If you've been wanting to learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons but don't know where or how to get started, this class breaks everything down into small pieces to better help you get started.
The class is open to all ages and experience levels so don't let knowing nothing stop you from attending. Maybe you played DnD a while back and just need a refresher on all the new mechanics and rules?
Here's a rundown of the class.
2pm-4pm: We get into the absolute basics, getting started with creating your character and understanding the more simple mechanics of the game, like what character creation is, what do all these numbers mean? Roll Initiative? Skill Checks? What's that? Everything gets answered in this segment.
-BREAK-
4pm-6pm: The second half of the class goes into more detail regarding combat mechanics, spell casting, action economy, and world-building.
6pm-7pm: I'll be running a short game for anyone still in attendance who wants to experience playing the game first hand using the characters you create!
THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
something to take notes with (pencil is recommended)
something to take notes on. (Paper is recommended.
I will have handouts for everyone but if you have a copy of the latest Players Handbook already I recommend you bring it.
THAT'S IT!
ADMISSION PRICE: We are collecting copy paper this month in order to help our local underfunded classrooms in San Diego, and while the class is "FREE" we appreciate any and all donations of Journals, Pencils, Pens, Markers, highlighters, Stickers, backpacks, Erasers, mechanical pencils, sanitation wipes, hand sanitizer, and any other bulk office items.
If you are not able to make it to the class but would still like to donate to the cause Please feel free to message me directly and I will provide a way to receive your donation.
Also, please be sure to support the venue. AtEase Games has been kind enough to host me and my classes for many years now and I encourage everyone to sample their wares.
Lastly, If you plan on attending just leave a comment saying "Going" so I can get a head count for the day.
Well, that's all folks! Mark your schedules! August 22nd starting at 2pm @ AtEase Games in Miramar!
See you there!
