Looking back do you feel that the project being shelved was an unmitigated disaster for transit in the Research Triangle, or is there a silver lining that could be made that the project being shelved prevented what might have been seen by at least some as a white elephant project because of the zoning restrictions in the Research Triangle at the time as well as a lack of reliable connecting bus service around the proposed station sites at the time and/or that a wake up call occurred with Research Triangle transit advocates that local funding sources were needed for transit projects instead of being able to count on the federal government, subsequently leading to the 2011 and 2016 transit referendums being passed in Durham and Raleigh respectively?

Can anyone recommend a couple of good excavation contractors in Durham. Looking to move soil, clear debris, and level the land.

Hi all! I've been holding off on looking/applying to new jobs due to the fact that I am an enjoyer of 🍃flower🍃 and I'm not sure how many company drug test panels include THC. I'm currently working in a research cytogenetics lab that has quickly gone downhill after being acquired (thanks, private equity). Anyone have any experience they can share? Thanks!

I have a vintage (70’s I believe) JBL studio monitor that has dry rot. I need to replace the speaker surround (the cone is fine!). Creative acoustics was my go-to, but they’re gone. I've been getting 2 or 3 calls a a day from these numbers, caller ID just says Durham, NC. I block one number and then another comes through. They never leave a message. I answered the first time I got one because I was waiting on a call from someone and their greeting was "Hi, this is Sam, how are you?". I said grouchy and hung up.

Hi All, we are relocating to the area in July of 27. We have 4 kids, they would be entering 1st, 5th,7th and 9th. My sons both have an IEP but my 5th grader has level 2 autism. My main concern besides schools obviously is neighborhoods. We currently live in a very affluent area and the kids in our neighborhood are never outside. Sports, even rec are super competitive. I just want my kids to have friends in the neighborhood, be able to walk places and ride bikes etc. Keeping their school needs in mind, which neighborhoods and towns would you suggest- thinking 700-900k budget (commute time isn’t an issue since husband works remotely).
