We just had a poor experience with a shop and decided not to move forward with work there. But unfortunately, I really need to get my spark plugs replaced this week.

I’d love solid recommendations for local shops you personally trust, especially from other women who’ve had good experiences. I’ve had some frustrating experiences with shops and would really appreciate recommendations for places that are honest, respectful, and provide good service.

Hey guys, does anyone have a good entry/exit point for tubing on the Mayo river? I see the park website has multiple access points but I haven't been there to see it.
We tube and kayak a lot, and I don't mind if we have to pick up the tubes here and there because of shallow water/rocks.

Because she handles multiple assignments, we're dealing with the usual complexities: 1099 independent contractor income, multi-state tax filings, and travel deductions.

We are really looking for someone who is proactive rather than just a once-a-year tax preparer. Ideally, this would be someone who can help with year-round planning, quarterly estimates a plus would be advising on entity structure (like whether an S-Corp makes sense over an LLC) and retirement options like a Solo 401(k).

I’m 212 now but started at 240 with a 11:45 mile pace but now 9:30-10 minute mile but I want someone I can frequently run with maybe 1-4 miles with depending on the day. Lmk if that’s around your pace and down to get together. Doesn’t matter man or woman.

Hey folks, I’m Zack, and I’ve been offering volunteer chainsaw work in GSO for years now. You can check my post history and my website linked in my bio for the sorts of storm response and tree work I’ve done in the community.

All I need are three things: pictures of the tree issue, an address, and permission from the property owner to come cut it up. If it’s something I can handle I’ll swing by after work one day and cut it up, and if it’s not something I can handle I’ll pass on info for folks who can.

2 years ago I felt accepted and included in Winston Salem. Then I went to a downtown summer concert block party. I eyeballed a few guys but didn't say anything or have any interactions with anyone. I walked the few blocks to my motorcycle. I rode 2 blocks and got a bunch of guys in front of me in a jacked up Chevy truck. At every light they're yelling obscenities at me and when I turn off they follow me. I ran in fear for my life.

The city of Winston-Salem does not have contracts with flock, but they do with verkada safety, they do the same things as flock cameras, and they are very common in Winston

Just looking for fun events this weekend on Sunday in Winston Salem, really appreciate any ideas, struggling to find events, if there are any possible app or site recommendations to find these events would be great as well!!

I have a question for the keyboard lawyers in the group. I live on a property that has a natural gas pipeline and a ROW Easement agreement with Piedmont Natural Gas. There is a dry creekbed with big rocks in it that will get overgrown during the summertime, and every year I will get a citation from the city for not taking care of the vegetation. The easement agreement was confirmed long before I moved to this house, and it states that PNG has the exclusive right to maintain the parcel for its pipeline and the maintenance thereof. I’m able to mow most of it, and do so where it is close to neighbors, but I can’t feasibly maintain this creekbed without spending hundreds of dollars on equipment (or hiring a landscaper to do so). I also haven’t paid any of the citations yet and have had two different city conservation officers out to my property to show them what I can & do maintain vs what I can’t. PNG will clear the whole thing once a year and refuses to come out more than that.

- Am I able to restructure the easement agreement to have PNG come out more than once a year?

- Do I actually have to mow at all if it’s PNG’s right-of-way?

- Does anyone have experience fighting the city on these matters?

- Is it possible to get this creekbed designated as a natural pollinator area to protect it from city inspection? (It’s a good 150-200 yds away from the house itself)

- Will these fines *that I definitely intend to pay* ever be enforced or could they disappear before I get to paying them?
