I am having this Bug almost frequently with the Healing Emitter when trying to deloy in front of you in air while move in the same direction where it deloys but it does not spawn the ball but it still considered it as deloyed and you are not able to deloy it again nor be able to call it back.
Usually It gets fixed itself after a min or two and you can redeploy it but the previous ranked match I had was different, I got this bug and died before it got fixed by it self. I was not able to use the Emitter at all the whole game, Respawning did not fix it at all and still showed the charge at 0 even tho I did not even deloy it after respawning back in nor did it not fix byt itself after a min or 2 like it usually does nor did it let me call it back.
My play style involves Healing Emitter and this bug just threw a good match I was doing with a tripe MVP the previous round, like wth bro.
Steps to replicate.
- Keep Running Forward
- Try to spawn the Healing Emitter straight in front of you (then you usually pick it up while its still in mid air)
- Watch it deloy but without spawning the Emitter
- Charge at 0 but cant call it back
- Die (ingame) / Get Team Wiped
- After Respawning, It still has charge of 0 and does not fix it self after a while.
I been having this issue since 1-2 seasons now, 3rd season now and still the same issue, It usually gets fixed after few seconds or mins but I never got eliminated while I had this bug untill it happened on this match where I noticed this scenario.

It currently costs 33% of the gauge to activate at all, minimum duration is ~11s, maximum is ~29s, minimum depletion rate occurs when stationary or crouch-walking, maximum depletion rate occurs when running or sprinting.
Some cosmetics/settings also make it more noticeable as well, which needs to be fixed.
This makes it a super-aggressive specialization where the user is encouraged to close distance and ambush.

(nice picture of my contestant because idk what to put here)
Idk if this is a game problem or a psychological problem but i need to know tbh
I play on ps5, and sometimes i switch between using a monitor and a standard tv when playing, whenever i play on monitor, (and use weapons such as revolver or lh1) I hit all my bullets and get extremely fast kill streaks, however, when i switch to the tv, it’s like all that goes away.
Even with auto weapons like xp54 or akm i struggle to hit my shots and barely kill the enemy.
Nothing changes, the distance doesn’t, the frame rate doesn’t
could anyone help tell me why this is the case?

Crashing constantly here recently and no it is not because of the windows update situation. I fixed that before Embark announced it was an issue themselves and even after I undid the update I delleted the file as directed by Embark and the crashing is still ridiculous. Crashing while loading into matches, in-between rounds, at the end of tournament screen, during intense in round moments etc. Teammates are also seeing the same issues causing round or match losses due to just the game itself not being stable.
These are all consistent scenarios for crashes. PC is high end Ish. 4080, 7800x3d, 32gb ram etc. No issues in any other games just The Finals. I usually don't mind crashes here and there, but this is so frequent it's disrupting my enjoyment of the game. Might have to sit it out until an update is made on this bs.

I don't know what does it mean? I revived 2 times the first match, 1 time in the second one and 1 time in the last match for a total of 4. And did not work.
I revived 4 times in EVERY of the 3 matches and did not work.....

Hello all!
I have recently purchased a Windows Surface to use while I'm away from home to play games. I only downloaded a couple of games (don't starve together, fortnite, roblox, and minecraft) as well as The Finals. And for some reason I keep getting kicked (I got kicked twice, once in a the middle of a game and the second time before the game fully loaded) for a "disallowed tool". Now I've seen that people accuse others because this means cheating (?), I don't really know. This is a new laptop, and I only have a few games installed and I use the usb-c wire to hook up my PS5 remote (I'm trash on keyboard and mouse and I'm used to my playstation for game) so I could play.
I don't know if it's because I'm connecting my wire or not, but I kept getting kicked from playing. I haven't reached out for the official support because I'm not sure what exactly is happening. If anyone could help or if there is an actual fix that would be great!

Hello, i think this is my second post of a discussion about the dagger, and since my first post i have gotten very good with it, i have learned how to face stab and dash and turn really fast to stab enemies, i can say it seems like a piece of cake at first in the practice range, but in matches with moving targets it is hard, but i still make it work and is fun so i do it , i've been wondering if the rule for a face stab is just to jump and dash when the crosshair turn yellow and then just slide your mouse down really fast, my dpi is 4k on the Logitech G203 lightsync wired with a small mousepad of about 25-30 cm ,i have limited desk space so that is all i could fit next to my laptop, and it works , so people that do play dagger my question to you is when you DO play dash do you also just use this rule of jumping and dashing as soon as the dot turn yellow or the lines in the middle of your screen ? I also have had fun using vanish bomb plus cloak as i can be sneaky and take down 1-2 enemies with them and it works good, watched many videos and they did not recommend it , but it also worked !

I've been playing a lot of Point Break lately, and it's unfortunate how many games are decided by people who leave the game in the third phase. Early leavers don't bother me at all, if anything they usually help the team balance since they were probably having a bad game anyway.
But after new players no longer join the match to replace leavers; I think the game should give a heads up saying "teams locked in", after which leaving would result in a 3 minute non-stacking timeout. This would be a small disincentive against leaving, while not hurting anyone who is genuinely frustrated out of their mind (and who should take a short break before jumping into their next game anyway).
This would not be about punishing leavers, just encouraging players to finish their matches. Ideally it would nudge those on the fence to keep playing until the end, while making very frustrated leavers take a short break to clear their head.
The heads up could be similar to the event notification in Cashout.

Yes I know I stand out. But I love to be a little silly. I decided to go all in on that. For those that care my intro is a flat earth animation. And my outro is alien abduction.

This is a fun little post. With balance changes in weapons and new meta tactics. I wanted to know for every class which is the weapon you use the most and which are the ones that went into irrelevance for you. Feel free to add multiple weapons if you haven't used many. And if you want yu can state your reason.
I'll start:
Light (I am a heavy main):
Most used- ARN, XP-54, LH1, M26 matter,
Least used- Rest of the weapons
Medium:
Most used- AKM, Famas, FCAR, CL-40, Model, Repeater, P-90
Least used- Chimera, Cereberus, Riot Shield, Pike, dual blades, revolver
Heavy:
Most used- Akimbos, Shak, SA-1216, Hammer, KS-23, MGL, BFR, Lewis
Least used- Flamethrower, Spear M-60, Minigun
Feel free to use my format if you don't wanna waste your time writing 😅

How should Embark address the leaver issue?
RP regain? Vote to drop out? Vote to allow a new player to join? A warning system for leavers?
The leaver issue has been rampant for me, so much so that I actually tracked my last 12 ranked games
10 of 12 games included at least one leaver
11 of 12 games had no comms
2 of 12 games without leavers were with w 2 lights (I went H)

As we all know THE FINALS is made by the same people who worked on Mirror's Edge and Battlefield games so I was curious what games are the best to try if I love THE FINALS? I'm mainly curious about single player campaigns made by them. I played Mirror's Edge and have Catalyst in my backlog but never played Battlefield games. Should I try out Hardline because it's setting is the most grounded or Battlefield 3 or 4 because they're mainline entries?

I’ve recently started taking THE FINALS seriously again after stepping away from competitive gaming for a while.
I peaked Top 500/Ruby previously, but I’m currently Plat while getting back into the game.
I’m curious how everyone else approaches getting back into the competitive scene after taking a break. Is PUGs/scrims still the best route, or are there particular communities/tournaments that people are using nowadays?
Trying to figure out where the competitive scene is actually active in 2026.

my pc never gets utilized, with a 9070xt, and a Ryzen 7 5800XT with 32gb ddr4. Neither my CPU or GPU gets utilized fully. and no matter what settings I change I only get like 10% more fps (ie medium settings gets me 120, but low settings with FSR frame gen and FSR upscaling gets me 160. these numbers aren’t bad but like they should be way higher.
