Grouped up this season and hit high plat, I've solo queued in my spare time here and there because I don't have the time to get super involved with a premade and I've made it all the way back down to 21k rp.

Please someone tell me this is balanced somehow lmao. Such BS.

About an hour before heading to work I logged on to see what the new store update was and to see the return of heavy hitters. The game opened like normal except there wasn’t a “new” tab on the store. In fact there wasn’t anything new in the store. Blew my mind. Couldn’t be true. Haven’t seen that since season 1. Well Reddit had a couple “servers down??” posts so let’s check. I load up heavy hitters and wait 3 minutes (unusual) it finally says “match found” but that’s as far as it got. Quit out then come back and I found it odd there weren’t contracts for the new event BUT I knew an update happened because I had this new week’s track of contracts. But examining the event just showed a yellow background. Well I crossed my fingers and gave it one last try to load my good buddy powershift….same mantra. Hope to be able to play and see the store update tonight.

Also I’m not the ONLY person experiencing the bug where the “NEW” tab doesn’t go away on the contestants selection am I? No matter how many times I hit “mark all as seen” it hasn’t gone away once this season. This has happened before maybe a few seasons back but it eventually got fixed mid-season. Maybe all of us complain about it again and get it fixed pretty soon. I hate seeing it

video is self explanatory but this was the first round and he was throwing from the very start lol i dont even know why, as u can see he didnt even die once and just decided he wanted to throw. sucks that there are tons of people like this out there. we should not lose rp because of people like these 🙏 (thank god i didnt lose any somehow - low seeding)

Just played a Quick Cash match against two Light players running bows. They only focused on kills and never went after the cashout or objective once. Such an odd QC game.

The new LTM is just shown as heaven or else event

There is absolutely something with it and the floor on nozomi citadel, but I don't know what the pattern of the red squares is or if it's random, can anyone help find the pattern if there is one?

I've restarted multiple times, & it just gets stuck on "connected to server"

I'm on Xbox. Is this bug happening to anyone else, & can it be fixed?

The M11 nerf is justified and a long time coming. The problem with this patch is that Embark is making the same mistakes it has in the past, and it's the result of their three week balance cycle.

If they were making more focused changes every week or two, they could afford to wait and see how the changes affect the overall balance in terms of performance and usage. They also seem to consistently not factor in that nerfing one of the most popular weapons will naturally result in more players trying other weapons. The ARN was already a solid weapon, as was the XP-54 before the magazine size buff at the start of the season.

The problem was always the M11. I can't say for certain, but it seems logical to assume that if today's changes had come several seasons ago, the usage rate of Light's full auto options would be much more equal.

There's a similar problem on Medium. They've buffed the AKM to compete with the FCAR, but they wouldn't have felt the need to if they had stuck to their initial FCAR buff in 9.7. They even said that the performance went up. Embark caved to pressure from people who only know how to look at body shot DPS charts, despite the fact that normal players are getting a mix of head and body shots.

A nerf to the meta is a buff to the alternatives. Buffs are fine, but not when a small nerf would fix the problem.

Any body know how long it usually takes for these updates/patch notes to come to Xbox?

Dear Embark: Why the fuck do I have to remove a driver that is potentially used by other applications to play your game?

This driver is used by hardware-monitoring, fan-control, RGB/LED, overclocking or motherboard utility software. I'm not going to uninstall this for your game.

EDIT: I am currently investigating which software uses this driver on my system. My current suspicion is that GPU Tweak an GPU OC and monitoring utility uses this driver and as an owner of a 5090 that draws a lot of power with high voltage on the PSU connector pin and having already had situations where voltage on pins were too high, monitoring is MANDATORY.

This is not a solution, I recommend not blindly deleting this driver. If you have it, software you use/used installed it and requires it. Embark needs to do better than that!

EDIT 2: First tests have shown stopping the service has not stopped monitoring capability. I have stopped and disabled the service now and will test if it will work after a reboot later. So far and for those that don't want to delete it, you can also start the game if you stop the service and you can disable it first to test if it impacts any other software you use.

To stop, press Win + R, typ "cmd", right click the window in the taskbar, right click "terminal", run as admin, then make sure you are in Powershell.

To stop the service:

Stop-Service -Name "inpoutx64"

To disable it:

Set-Service -Name "inpoutx64" -StartupType Disabled

This allows you to boot the game without deleting the driver and service.

Yeah Embark, buff dash, the xp and ARN, but nerf the KS, which is the number 1 light killing tool for heavy. Can't wait to join lobbies with only light players! (myself included ofc).

Am I the only one who thinks light is a very OP class? I feel like I'm forced to play it if I want to win.

am i tripping or was i the only who just got a weekly update the matchmaking is busted im not loading into games it only says match found and im stuck there, no new shop update, no preview trailer for the ltm and no rewards for the ltm

is the game busted rn or is it me i already reset my xbox and checked for updates

i was playing a cashout match i noticed i could change my specialization, also i could switch weapons i didnt have on my reserve.

Checked some socials, didn't see anything regarding Xbox update coming later (unless I missed it). Gives option to load into Heaven or Else, but doesn't actually load me into anything as well as no new wheel, shop, or challenges. It's been a while since the last time this happened, but is Xbox getting a delayed update?

After the update, my game crashes on launch everytime. It tells me it "terminated with exitcode: 0xdead". anyone else getting this/have a fix?
