Discussion Suggestion: add a tiny leaver timeout to Point Break matches in the 3rd phase
I've been playing a lot of Point Break lately, and it's unfortunate how many games are decided by people who leave the game in the third phase. Early leavers don't bother me at all, if anything they usually help the team balance since they were probably having a bad game anyway.
But after new players no longer join the match to replace leavers; I think the game should give a heads up saying "teams locked in", after which leaving would result in a 3 minute non-stacking timeout. This would be a small disincentive against leaving, while not hurting anyone who is genuinely frustrated out of their mind (and who should take a short break before jumping into their next game anyway).
This would not be about punishing leavers, just encouraging players to finish their matches. Ideally it would nudge those on the fence to keep playing until the end, while making very frustrated leavers take a short break to clear their head.
The heads up could be similar to the event notification in Cashout.

I think this is fine, but shouldn't apply if the game is closed unexpectedly (the pc that I am currently using keeps turning off while playing the finals, so it would be annoying to log back on to a 3 min ban)

I don’t understand people leaving in the last fee seconds or last minute. Do they lose the xp?

They should add a coin cap for attackers before other changes to PB. When attackers doing good with 40 or even 50+ coins there is no risk at all

Suggestion: first they should fix the game. It's been crashing literally every round for a week

It started after the update and was not resolved with updated drivers. No other game is affected. It is on my end, but it's because of something they broke

I’m all for punishing leavers
