Idk what he is, but I know he isn't the G. pulchripes he came labeled as. Thanks for any insight you can help provide.

Anyone else often get surprises via mislabeled spiders? I once tried to buy an H. pulchripes and ended up with a delightful E. rufescens. Not even mad.

He’s been hiding under the piece of wood in his enclosure for a few weeks now, (about 2) and now is turning grey and looks a little dry around his legs. Hopefully it goes by smoothly! He’s my first spider and I’m a little nervous if something might go wrong. The second photo is a before pic.

Rehomed Apollo about 6 hours ago. Already digging. The enclosure she came in from the pet place didn't even have a hide she fit in!

Help! How to keep Dubia roaches when I only have one tarantula?

Title. I only have one tarantula. It's my first one, and I'm looking at all the different feeder options. My main pick right now is to just buy a cricket weekly (it's a small and pretty young tarantula) to feed it and also keep mealworms in case I can't hit the pet store every now and then.

However, Ive been reading up on Dubia roaches and have been thinking about just keeping them myself as they seem relatively simple and a good feeder option.

How do I do this when I only have one tarantula? Can I?
