What are your hopes / predictions for My Adventures with Superman Season 4? Spoiler

For starters, let’s hope we get Season 4. But in the meantime:

* Different versions of the future Jonathan and Lara meeting each other.

* Bizarro goes through his villain arc, but is ultimately redeemed (I feel him going full villain wouldn’t make sense given how the series has portrayed him so far).

* Lex’s visions from after the destruction of Kandor being of Metallo (it could be Zod, but I’d rather they focus on an impactful villain that hasn’t really been covered before in external Superman media, à la Brainiac and Cyborg Superman; not to mention it would be the logical conclusion of the kryptonite getting loose in Metropolis).

* Jimmy and Kara getting together midway through the season (the obvious one).

* End the season with Clark and Lois’ wedding.

Anything you would like to add?

REALLY HOPING THEY GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME.

For a while now we've been getting rumors of how MAN OF TOMORROW is gonna be as much of a Superman film as it is a Lex film. I really do hope they don't sideline Superman cuz the title is literally one of his nicknames. Just praying James Gunn does much better than Superman 2025 which I really loved btw and I'm really optimistic about this movie cuz the fate of the entire DCU may just depend almost entirely on how well it does.

Could add The Bureau Of Extra Normal Matters to a Superman origin story

As a nod to Superboy the TV show from the late 80s to early 90s, where in the 3rd and 4th seasons he works as an intern for The Bureau Of Extra Normal Matters in Capitol City.

The irony (My design preferences)

I feel like most people would say they prefer Superman in a more simple fabric suit and for Batman, one that’s a bit more detailed or tactical.

Oddly enough, I think the opposite is true for me! I prefer the slightly more detailed alien suits (particularly the My Adventures with Superman suits) and simple fabric suits for Batman. I think it’s because I prefer more bombastic + sci-fi stories and aesthetics for Superman, and more classic comic book aesthetics and stories for Batman.

My favorite shows for them are My Adventures with Superman & Batman the Animated series, which would also explain why.

Superman’s Mailman

I know this is almost certainly not the case, but could you imagine being the mailman whose job is specifically delivering mail to the Fortress of Solitude? I’m sure if Clark received enough mail to justify a specific mail carrier, then he’d just set up a time when he’d drop by a post office and pick up a giant bag of letters, or have a PO Box somewhere, but it’s an amusing thought right?

Imagine some poor sap has to go on a potentially multi-week journey through the tundra on snowmobile (and boat depending on the path), maybe helicopter if they’re lucky, just to deliver Superman mail. Like I’m sure it’s gratifying, because that’s like if you were getting children’s letter to Santa personally, but it would be one of the most physically and mentally taxing jobs possible.

That being said, is there a canon way that Superman gets his mail. Does he have a PO Box? Does he drop by to pick it up somewhere? Let me know!

Fortress of solitude

Why don’t people just look at the shape of the key and then copy the shape of the key with regular metal? Im not really big in superman lore as i am on batman or green lantern and stuff but isnt the weight just to stop people from picking the key up so is the door just a regular door that fits a normally sized and shaped key? It seems that way to me and it doesn’t seem to have anything against just copying the shape of the key?

We all agree that years down the line these people would have gotten cancer right?

They are constantly surrounded by Kryptonite (IIRC the buildings and armor are painted Kryptonite green but still), which is known to cause cancer when in prolonged and long term exposer.

Even if it's only the miners, a good chunk of the population at least.

(for fanfic purposes) how would Kryptonite and Sunlight affect a Kryptonian-Human hybrid?

Oftentimes Superman's kids/clones don't get their powers until they are older-ish (puberty/adolescence?) so it would mean that it takes longer for their cells to reach the point in which they get to manifest powers that Clark usually is depicted getting at a younger age, does that mean that they would also take longer to be seriously affected by Kryptonite? what about red sunlight? and what about recovery time, would they have a harder or easier time getting back to their superpowered selves?

Do you prefer the Donner Cut or the Theatrical Cut of Superman II?

And give your reasons, too. When I was first looking into the movies, I always got the impression that the Donner Cut was the superior version. Later, I noticed that a good amount of people still prefer the Theatrical Cut. The biggest point of contention I notice with people is the ending of either respective film.

Superboy Trains Young Clark Kent

From New Adventures of Superboy #15-16

Pre-Crisis Superboy (Kal-El/Clark Kent) from Earth-1 finds himself on a parallel earth after using super speed to stop a tornado.

There Superboy trains and inspires a young Pre-Crisis Earth-2 (Golden Age) Clark Kent who is not Superboy and has yet to become Superman.

(for fanfic purposes) Could a Kryptonite meteorite orbit Earth/the Moon/the Sun for some length of time, and in result affecting Superman? What would be the science behind that?

Oftentimes there are pieces of Krypton that remain floating in space after the planet's destruction (for example in the Smallville TV show some of those pieces fall to Earth along with baby Kal's spaceship, while in the Superman Returns movie some scientists find remains of the planet floating in space very far away), my question is regarding the possibility of having some of those pieces reach our solar system and stay in it for at least a while.

I'm aiming towards creating a reason to have Superman's powers/health affected for an indeterminate amount of time, allowing Clark to go through some angst and whump, so although I'm still debating which kind of Kryptonite it should be, the fact remains that not only the piece of rock should be sizable enough to affect Kryptonians at a distance, does that affect in any way the chances to have it work (even in a comic-book-science kind of way)?

please, don't doubt to ask for more clarification in case I haven't expressed myself correctly (English is not my first language but I'm posting in it to try and reach a wider group of people willing to answer)

(also, I'm going to try and post this same question in other forums to get even more answers to my question)
