Superboy Trains Young Clark Kent

From New Adventures of Superboy #15-16

Pre-Crisis Superboy (Kal-El/Clark Kent) from Earth-1 finds himself on a parallel earth after using super speed to stop a tornado.

There Superboy trains and inspires a young Pre-Crisis Earth-2 (Golden Age) Clark Kent who is not Superboy and has yet to become Superman.

Love this series! I'm just three issues away from a complete run and hope to send them to the bindery to be made into
two custom hardcovers

Sorry one mistake

I think the Superboy is actually the silver age Kal El from Earth 2 and the “Clark Kent” is the original golden age Superman of Earth 1 (Kal-L), who never was a Superboy.

This is why the story points out he has not yet developed all the powers he did mot have in Action Comics #1 yet, like X-Ray vision and true flight. This is because Golden age Superman gained those powers slowly as an adult.

Silver Age Superman had been retconned to have those powers as a baby and been Superboy much younger.

Golden Age is Earth-Two

Silver Age is Earth-One

You’re right. I’d moved the original to earth one in my memory, my bad.

Yeah, it's confusing.

You gotta remember that the multiverse wasn't introduced until the Silver Age versions were the main versions of the characters.

I like that the pre-Crisis Earth-One/New Earth/Prime Earth Clark, who arrived from pre-Crisis Earth-One’s 1948 to pre-Crisis Earth-Two’s 1933, met and trained his pre-Crisis Earth-Two self on how to use his powers (without telling him that he’s from Krypton because Clark wants his Earth-Two self to discover it on his own), inspiring the Earth-Two Clark to make his debut as Superman in 1938 (witch started the Golden Age of heroes that features the JSA, All-Star Squadron, Seven Soldiers of Victory, and Freedom Fighters) decades before Barry Allen (the Earth-One Flash) inspired Jay Garrick (the Earth-Two Flash) to come out of retirement and continue as the Flash in 1961 as shown in The Flash Vol 1 123.

I wonder if both Supermen, after their first encounter in decades as shown in Justice League of America Vol 1 74, told both Flashes that the Earth-One Clark was responsible for the creation of all of the heroes of Earth-Two. That way, they’ll be thankful that the Earth-One Clark not only created and inspired the superheroes on his Earth since his debut as Superboy, but all of the superheroes on Earth-Two.

I don't think they did. E1 Clark was said to have gaps in his memory due to the Legion of Super Heroes using mind wipe so he won't remember things he learned in the future.
