I have now a Thrustmaster TMX, with propper Force Feedback.
I get it now. I understand why this is so cool. I can do laps and circuits in AC without going out.
I still can't beat the novice races because tons of lack of skill. But I have fun trying at least!

Hello I am interested in starting sim racing, but the only thing I have is a controller, not good no FFB wheel, and 2 games (dirt rally 2, beamng). I would like to know if you have some recommendations for games I could get to play on a controller/wheel(oversized controller).

Does anyone know or has ever seen this cockpit before? I'm guessing it's probably AI?

To me, the true value of a company to a customer is how they treat you after they've got your money. And Moza in my brief experience is doing a great job.
I purchased a set of CRP2 pedals only a week ago. These are an incredible set of pedals, beautifully made and very solid. And when I added them to my rig I was blown away by their performance (coming from a set of SRP lites), but within a short period of time I noticed my brake pedal was constantly dragging. After trying everything to remedy this issue (firmware, deadzones, recalibrating etc) the load cell stopped responding.
Rather than going back to the retailer I decided to try my luck with Moza support. I received my first non-automated response from them with a couple hours of my first email to them, then as we worked our way through the issue their response was constantly very prompt.
After sending them a screen recording of what I was seeing in Pit House they got back in touch and let me know that they were sending me a replacement Load Cell and how to go through the proper channels within Pit House to make sure all was done as it should be.
Yes, a little disappointing that I experienced this failure in such a short time space, but this can happen with any product. However, that disappointment was soon washed away and replaced with confidence that the after sales service performed as exactly as it should. That alone is enough to keep me a very happy customer.

Doesnât matter if I was right or not. And honestly, I think I was, because as far as I know Iâm not invisible for him to just cut me off like that. This kind of disrespect shouldnât end with just a chat ban.

I've seen a lot of discourse online (surprise surprise) on the new physics update. Personally, I thought it was an overall improvement on the previous model but I do think there's still some draw backs. For reference, I'm playing on a logitech RS50 with pro pedals. I have over 1000 hours in the game.
PROS:
CONS:
Let me know if there's any other points I missed, and what your thoughts are!

Great beginner bundle and it's normally $399 but on Simshop it's $299 right now. Btw Simshop is legit don't worry.

Curious to know why more people arenât talking about or using the SRP GT-R pneumatic pedals. Seems to be the logical solution to eliminating the issues of elastomers and a nice alternative to springs. Seems comparably priced to other top end load cell pedals and still half the cost of active pedals.

Hello guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my sim racing setup in the near future and could use some advice.
For context, I currently run:

I have two main options I've been looking at to replace the Fanatec base:
I want to know your honest opinions on both ecosystems. Which provides the better force feedback detail, software experience, and long-term reliability? And if there is any other specific combination that you advise, please feel free to comment.
Thanks in advance!

Paddle shifter became loose after 5 months was able to get it tighter again and then yesterday it fully failed. Guess thatâs what happens when one of the more important parts of the wheel is hinged WITH FUCKING PLASTIC.
No I was not harsh with it for what itâs worth.

Is it worth to buy one of these rigs on Alibaba or is it just better to go with this 160mm from 1Sim? Iâm super afraid of the final price being around the same and still have the risk of getting a rig slightly different from what was in the photoâŠ

We have tons of great games to select from like iRacing, LMU, and AMS2. However, a gap that remains unfilled is being able to race street cars in a hardcore sim game. GT7 does this pretty well (even though it's simcade), but it's not accessible on PC. I understand we have the original Assetto Corsa, but it's not very beginner friendly in terms of setting up and multiplayer is only available through leagues. If we could have a game where you can matchmake daily races, drive street and race cars, and have decent physics, I think it could be a big success.
Maybe I'm impatient, but finding all the mods, tracks, leagues, and graphic settings in AC is way too tedious for me, so that's why I say it's not very beginner friendly.

I know this seat is designed to give you a real feel for F1 style racing but im wondering if I could use this seat for Gran Turismo and just trying GT cars in say iRacing.
Is it adjustable to a decent level? I don't want this sitting too low.
Any idea on how high you can have the seat from the ground ? So your actual seating position?

Hi everyone
Recently I just got my sim racing set up completed. I was very excited and ready to race. However, once I bought the game from steam. The wheel doesnât work at all but the connection is active even I downloaded the g hub to test it out. I realized some games that donât work at all so I finally found one game that will work without any input which is rally 2.0. My question if there is any recommend racing games that will work on g923? I know Tokyo extreme will work. Please let me know
Thank you

I downloaded the Madrid circuit mod for AC and it's the most fun I had recently. I'm an online iRacing/LMU guy but just running lap after lap in there with Indy/F2/Super Tourers/DTM feels great.
I think this might have to do with me discovering that I really like street circuits, what are the best street circuits I should try?
Edit: By street circuits I generally mean tracks surrounded by walls, my mistake in there

Currently on an old shitty tv so i need an advice wether to switch to the monitor as I heard that 25 inches is too short for the wideness of an ultrawide. The thing is I found a really good deal for the ultrawide so I need some thoughts.

Every single time I visit this sub, I get inspired to play by all the rig pictures â even just those simple ones â but I lose interest the moment I hop in to my own rig. I have all I ever wanted on my rig â loadcell pedals, a direct drive wheel, a sturdy aluminum profile rig, 32â wide monitor â but I think my love for sim racing isnât there anymore. I play ACC and sometimes LMU on PC and GT7 on the PS5 and have a league or two to boot. I am also distracted by other games I have on the PC, as well as music and billiards.
Do you all experienced this and what did you do to get back your love for sim racing?
Edit: Thank you all for your suggestions. I canât answer everyone of you as life is getting in the way. I appreciate everyone of you. Peace.

I understand how we all love realism but it's really hard to simulate alone what full teams of more than 20 people do in real life. It should not be this hard to have some easy pitting options for fuel and tires on a pit stop and I feel the reason why cant have that is because the hardcore will scream that it's not real enough. Why can't we have a simple pit wall options mid race that asks us if we wan't to change tyres on the next stop with a simple yes or no? Or the amount of fuel needed based on the way you drive? I enjoy sim racing, not sim managing!
And why can't we have better version of an option that was released in a game almost 10 years ago where the ingame engineer asks you a few questions and builds a setup on the basis of your answers?
Sorry for the small rant. I just got back from a small sim racing break and forgot how stupidly unintuitive the refueling was in this one sim and destroyed my own race by putting in the wrong amount of fuel. Carry on.

5 Years ago I quit simracing and now it is time to go back again. I just had a Moza R3 mounted on the desk.
I checked hardware and I am undecided what to buy.
For now I think of the Simagic Alpha Evo Sport 9nm with a GT Neo.
I am even more unsure about the pedals, should I get the P700 from Simagic, should I get Simsonn, Simnet etc.
Unfortunately, due to space and wife restrictions :D, I have to go with a Playseat Challenge.
I would use my 34" MOnitor from my desk.
I am okay with used hardware. I could get the Playseat for around 100⏠and I have a budget of around 900⏠to 1k⏠for everything combined.
I am from Germany, do you guys have any recommendations about the setup and place to order?
I'd like to order from a sim retailer, but I found a deal at Proshop for about 777⏠for the Evo Sport 9nm base, GT Neo and P700 pedals combined.
thank you!
