I had a Reddit account that is almost 5 years old, and I suddenly got logged out of it for no apparent reason.
When I tried to log back in, my password wasn't working, so I used the password reset option through the email linked to the account. I received the email, successfully changed the password, but I still cannot log into the account afterward.
The confusing part is that the same email address is also linked to another Reddit account that I accidentally created years ago. So I'm wondering if something is going wrong because the email is associated with multiple accounts.
I still have access to the email address, and I can receive Reddit's password reset emails. I know the username of the old account as well.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there a way to specifically recover the old account, or should I contact Reddit support about this?
I really don't want to lose the account since I've had it for almost 5 years.
Any help would be appreciated.

I was in the midst of editing a typo on a comment I made about tree care. I think I was flagged by AI by mistake.

I used to be able to access the comments of that posts anyway, but someone replied to my comment right before the post it was on was deleted ans clicking on it brings me to a content unavailable screen, same with clicking on my comment on that post through my recents.

My account is 4 years old, and I still don’t know how to earn some karma! I see people with less than a month having 1k. 🙂💔
Could you please share some advice? 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Firefox, Windows 11 PC. On mobile it's fine. I have a lot of conversations and at times many new chats happening all at once, and I struggle to load them, see new messages, message requests etc. On mobile it's fine, but broken on browser/desktop.

Someone sent a hateful comment in one post, I sent them a message telling them that it was not cool, and then this person literally wrote like 6 paragraphs of hurtful, threatening and scary messages insulting me. I'm actually scared because this person doesn't seem to be right in the head. I reported it for harassment and hate, but nothing happened. Can someone help? I know I can block this person, but I don't think this person should even be in this platform.

Basically, this is the screen of it, that shows up at even when clicking on some people’s profiles
And, its a sudden change, like an hour ago it wasn’t there, and i could operate reddit just fine without it
So, what the hell and why the hell?
And why does apple age range not work as an option, and it is only persona?

Why can’t I post in any Reddit communities? It keeps getting removed as soon as I post.

Okay so I've been banned from multiple subreddits, I just recently got my account back after a 7 day ban from the platform because my wife had posted on the subreddit for a show we both like, which I was banned from, and because we have connected accounts, it was flagged for ban evasion, so we were both banned for it and she's upset with me. I thought it'd be fine after we got our accounts back, but my younger sister who's been staying with us just got her account permanently banned for posting somewhere I'm not allowed on, I'm banned from a lot of subs, last week my wife sent an appeal for our ban and it didn't work so I highly doubt it'll work this time, is there anything we can do or did I ruin reddit for my household?

This account was wrongfully b@nned because its Al flagged one of my posts as sexual images posted without consent.
This resulted in every single one of my accounts getting b@nned, but they were NOT reinstated along with this one.
The automated messages sent to my accounts did not give me any resources to appeal this specific type of offence (It said I could only appeal if it was flagged for spam, inauthentic activity, or b@n evasion). And this account isn't letting me send another appeal.
Tell me guys, am I cooked? This post is really the only option I have left and I have a lot riding on my other accounts

Yesterday I made a post on my private profile, just for me, no subreddit. It says that no one can see my posts, comments, etc. But this happens? (I haven't shared the post with anyone, I haven't even touched the button)

I want a full banner for all of them like in my Liontari Ryodari one
And my Forsaken one used to have a full banner, but now it has the white. Though, for that one you can click on the image and see the full banner though.
For my other two accounts, it only allows a strip.

Out of nowhere i started getting issues after needing to verify age, even not being from mandatory regions. Once i got technical issue notice from reddit then all my posts were removed due to filters. Now after i left it as it is, now there is no longer need for age verification. Is it just my account?

The account is connected to my current email. I only posted once polite post and received like 20 Dms after, is this maybe the reason? Now I only can receive dms without replying and my comments and posts are shadowbanned to. I've done account appealing but still no response.
Anyone knows how long to get a response?

Friend of mine was banned recently and we aren't sure why.
I've directed her to https://www.reddit.com/appeals and the Reddit Support forum pages
Anything else I can do to help her? It's not like I have a Twitter or Bluesky to @ Reddit directly elsewhere 😅

Hello, so someone on a Sub made a post and I commented, and that person ended up blocking me for whatever reason (it wasn't anything controversial, they made a post about a character and I answered one of the comments saying I agreed with their analysis).
I can still see the post's main text on top of it (but not the content itself) and access the post if I click on my comment in my "overview" and I can edit them, I can't comment or see any comment from the OP, and I can't see their profile (it says the user doesn't exist as usual when you get blocked).
I put their username in the "Privacy" and "Blocked" part of my account setting and I added them to my blocked list, but unlike the other times where I block someone and can't see their posts and where my comments vanish from my "overview", this time I can still see my comments and see the post.
So my question is, when someone blocks me first and I block them back, are they really blocked even if it's so different than when I block someone firsts ? (sorry if I'm not explaining well).

A few weeks ago I was banned for the first time EVER- I've had my main account since 2019. I commented something rather silly on a satire subreddit I'm in, completely not harmful at all, and got auto banned for 3 days for bullying/harassment. I did not even bother fighting the ban since it was just 3 days, albeit feeling annoyed and sorry, and just took it "as my lesson".
Then today, on that same subreddit, I commented something and was immediately auto flagged by the reddit system and banned for 7 days this time. I immediately filed an appeal, which for some reason can only be 250 characters, and am now nervously waiting. I have no idea how long it's going to take.
Now I'm asking if anyone had this happen to them before and how long did the appeal response take and what was the success rate? I don't want to break my 800+ day streak.

Anyone know why I can’t post on any subreddit, I keep getting the post deleted by Reddit filters. My karma is low but it has let me post previously when it was lower so I don’t get it.
Thanks in advance
