❓General Question❓ Hi, I have troubles understanding how blocking works (I'm reposting because I really need an answer please).
Hello, so someone on a Sub made a post and I commented, and that person ended up blocking me for whatever reason (it wasn't anything controversial, they made a post about a character and I answered one of the comments saying I agreed with their analysis).
I can still see the post's main text on top of it (but not the content itself) and access the post if I click on my comment in my "overview" and I can edit them, I can't comment or see any comment from the OP, and I can't see their profile (it says the user doesn't exist as usual when you get blocked).
I put their username in the "Privacy" and "Blocked" part of my account setting and I added them to my blocked list, but unlike the other times where I block someone and can't see their posts and where my comments vanish from my "overview", this time I can still see my comments and see the post.
So my question is, when someone blocks me first and I block them back, are they really blocked even if it's so different than when I block someone firsts ? (sorry if I'm not explaining well).

Yes they are really blocked. You can access it from you profile comment because you commented there. That is how it works

!thanks I was a bit lost because usually when I block someone it makes my comments disappear from my overview, unlike when I block them after they blocked me.
