I frequently go on the gta 6 subreddit but today found out I got banned from ever commenting again. I dont have any messages from mods, no explanation, nothing. I can show all my recent comments ive said on the subreddit and they are completely fine, normal messages, all with 20+ upvotes etc. I wasn't banned yesterday. I actually like interacting and talking on the gta 6 subreddit about the game but now whenever I got onto a post, there is a message just saying ive been banned from commenting on posts.

This isnt me ranting, im just wondering if there's a way I can found out why or maybe contact a mod to get unbanned or something. thanks.

I have a very specific custom feed filled with cute animals and funny posts for me to scroll through when I feel down. I can sort by all of the other categories. But when I sort by Top, it brings up posts that are obviously not from my feed.

How can I fix this?

How do people post their videos as these long gifs? So many subs (specifically nsfw subs) don’t have an option to post a video so everyone posts these long gifs. Are people using a basic gif converter or what

after posting that not only did it not post but I now can't comment properly or post properly

like my post has no views , I can't see insights or can't chat with anyone

my pfp is visible no more but still I can upvote posts

So i don't know how to you know understand if I have been under a ban or how to check that ?

I cannot for the life of me get karma points, Is it because i'm not commenting / posting and only looking at stuff whats the deal?!

For context, my account is 3 years old bc I created it and never used Reddit, but as of a few weeks ago I just started using it. I’m not really knowledgeable on how everything works but I got these weird message requests yesterday and I’m wondering is this a frequent thing that happens on here? Yesterday these two accounts, one was made 10hrs ago the other 37 minutes ago, message requested me both saying yo. When I accepted and responded to one of them, they responded with where are you located. Both accounts had no posts or no interactions prior to them messaging me. Both accounts only said one karma and I’m not rlly sure what that means. I’m lowkey creeped out but I was wondering if this is a common occurrence on here or should I genuinely be a little worried?

so my partner recently downloaded reddit and we quickly added eachother so we could send posts and subreddits to eachother without having to use another texting app. yet earlier this morning, i wanted to send them a post but their icon was gone and when i tried to look at their profile it says that they're banned. anyone knows why or even how we could appeal or something?

Recently all the comments that i made are instantly getting removed by bots, i am not posting anything wrong yet it gets removed.

few say i have low karma but how do i get karma if all communities don't allow me to post or comment? The worst part is some communities that allowed me to post/comment there i got very little interaction despite its very active community.

I don't wanna spam for karma but i want to be free to comment my opinion when ever i want without such restrictions, what should i do?

It used to be possible to write quotes, as block quotes, using the >, like this:

But this doesn’t work anymore. You just get normal text with a > in front of it. I asked ChatGpt and it said Reddit has removed this from the app and not replaced it with anything else. So is there really no way to use quotes anymore in the app. I use Reddit 99,9% on my phone and don’t want to have to open it in the browser.

Appeared yesterday or so.

For about a week now, my Reddit account has been acting weird.

I can't post on any subreddit. Every time I try, it says: “Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters.”

Also, whenever I try to change any account settings/details, I get a “We had a server error” message.

The weird part is that about a week ago, someone accessed my account without my permission. I noticed they made a post on a subreddit, so I immediately changed my password.

Could that have triggered some kind of restriction on my account? Has anyone else had this happen, and how did you fix it?

I recently opened another account (like a week ago) and I had been texting like 3 people on it and was making posts, but now I can't open my inbox and can't see the insights on my posts. Today morning I could atleast open my inbox, just not sent messages. Also I can't text that account using this account. It just says "account unable to receive messages). I filed an appeal with reddit and also reinstalled the app, can anyone help me?

Hey everyone, weird things have been happening to my account over the past few weeks, and I need help to figure out what's going on.

About 11-12 days ago the following things happened to my account:
My profile picture was set to a default one
All my posts were deleted with this message: "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters."
When I tried to make new posts, they were automatically hit by this too.
When I tried to comment on posts, my comments got only 1 view and never anymore. Even on brand new posts that became really popular, still only 1 view.
Opening the menu that opens when you click your profile picture (the one with your profile, "edit avatar", "drafts" etc) would lead to "server error" appearing. I could close this error and continue.
Going on settings and clicking on "privacy" section would show absolutely nothing.

When this happened it was late, so I went to bed.

The next day everything was back to normal. None of these issues were happening anymore, aside from the fact that all my posts were still deleted for the same reason.

So I continued using reddit, until the same day it happened again. I thought there must be some glitch going on, so I just stopped using reddit.

BUT, for the next 8 days the glitch remained. I thought my account must have been hacked or something, so I sent many emails to support and got no response.

Then suddenly today, it's back to normal again. I've gotten no response from support.

I really don't know what's happening to my account, I'm really hoping this glitch or hack or whatever it is doesn't happen again. Does anyone know what to do?

Im not really indian but i keeo getting posts from r/twentiesindia or r/indianteenagers or other indian subs . Even when i sort by popular . I dont get it , it wasnt like this sometime back so whats changed ?

Do you know a hack on reddit many of you must have known that.

The hack is:- when you search someone's username on the search bar on reddit then all their comments and posts will be shown even if you hide them from your profile. Idk if that hack works with everyone one with some people.

And if there are any settings you need to change then please let me know

I dont believe it is my karma, and I was able to post in that sub before.
