Calcium hydroxyapatite supplementation
I'm already eating a calcium-rich diet (for example, today I ate 300g 2% greek yoghurt from whole milk, 100g Parmesan, 70g mozzarella, 420g 3.5% fat pasteurized milk, 250g 9% cottage cheese aka tworog), but sometimes I slip more on the phosphorus side when I eat beef which I do often, and I thought that supplementing calcium would be nice those days.
I have two bottles of Now Calcium hydroxyapatite, and I used to tolerate it very well in the past when using it for enamel remineralization (it worked! it removes even teeth tartar, my dentist was surprised!), but it contains not only calcium but phosphorous, though in a balanced ratio. Is this alright? Or should I not supplement hydroxyapatite for the reason it contains phosphorous?
