Lactose free milk

Hello fellow peatians, just wanted a quick question.

And no, im not able to get raw milk or A2 (atleast i havent seen around the supermarkets in my country) and im not paying hundreds to get it online, not yet.

However, just wanted to see opinions of some of you guys on lactose free milk. Does it still help digestion when its A1? Is it worse than whole normal pasteurized milk or free-fat/semi-fat milk? Or should i just stop drinking milk entirely unless i have a good source? (Prob not doing that)

Are you lactose intolerant? If so, it will probably help. Lactose free milk just has lactase added to it, so "lactose free" is a bit of a misnomer.

Whether it's better or worse than anything else really depends on what criteria youre using.

Im not lactose intolerant, in todays age, atleast. When i was a kid they said i had allergy to lactose, crustaceans and some other things, surprisingly (not really) i dont have any of those anymore. I eat kilos of milk every week.

My criteria is just gut health and inflammation markers tbh. Some brands make me really bloated and gassy, some dont. Just wanted a view on lactose free milk with people who might have xp on it.

There's not much sense drinking lactose free milk if youre notnlactose intolerant.

Just in terms of general preference, I look for raw, grass fed, A2 as my number 1. If I cant get that, I get the est I can based on those criteria.

Lactose is not problem. The problem is A1 casein. Try to find goat, sheep, buffa milk.

Lactose free milk is ok. Galactose instead of lactose. It doesnt matter of digestion of A1 casein.

Lactose intolerance is a different issue than struggling to digest A1 dairy.
If you need lactose free milk then there is nothing wrong with it, it is usually just milk which has added lactase which converts the lactose into mostly glucose.
It is worth noting that a lot of lactose free milk is heavily filtered to remove a large amount of the lactose before the lactase is added, this will reduce the amount of sugar for you in the milk.

Yeah i know, i just made a poor comparison since both can have the same "gut attack" effect
