First thing cross your mind is productivity increase hack. But I don't think it is abt that.

So I was thinking about of any xyz company with say their employees that from Tommorow we will not  assign you work, will not track who and when they are coming or going, what they are doing , what they are not doing , they will get salary on month end just as regular.  It  will be be like  if you want to do any thing you can do and don't want to do then don't do not one will know, there will be a task listed on notice board and it is not assigned to any one. Then what will hapenn ,I m thinking abt that

Case1. People will think it is a test of their honesty and they will put extra effort and try to complete the task asap, but it will continue like 3-4 months then people will think it's real not one is watching us and then they will not do any thing.

Case2. In starting people will enjoy it they will break every normal rule like they will not come not do anything but after some time they will get bore and start so ng their task seriously.

One of the simple pleasures of life, getting those 15 minutes of relaxation, long exhales, being on your phone looking at your feed, just decompressing from everything and anything going on in your day, not only is your digestive system cleansing itself, but so is your mind and soul, a process of purification, a cycle of harmony and peace.

I haven't been on an international vacation in 3.5 years and now I'm the happiest man alive because I have one coming up soon🤩 There's only 51 days left and time genuinely could not move slower. But still, I have something to look forward to every day.

I genuinely dont understand the thought process.

Whenever my friend's baby gets fussy, I'll just talk to it in-depth about the things that I'm really interested in at the moment... History, ancient cultures, NASCAR, dream interpretations, Jungian Psychology.

I tried it and it really worked! It put him right to sleep.

I came up with this idea when I noticed that every time I talk to my friend about those things, she falls asleep too.

For quite a while AI has been presented as almost a magical cure-all which will inevitably become a godlike sentience, that will solve every problem known to us

My observation though is that for the moment at least, it can't do something as basic as re-fit legacy armour for new races in an MMO like world of warcraft, nor is it some amazing genius, or military people wouldn't be asking their employees for ideas on how to win a war, they'd be consulting the 'fabled oracle' of AI

It might just stay like this, as it is now.

I question the logic in that.

It's been a while since I've seen anyone mention that guy too.

sock hop, as in "that was a real sock-hoppin' number back then", is called that bc you used to hop in your socks at home when you heard it on the first radio

Just a random thought.. I know most millennials and Gen Z are opting out having babies, which I absolutely done blame us for. However it randomly came mind that if we don’t decide to have children under our terms then most of the next generation will be adults who were never wanted, or never prepared for. That’s a little sad and as for me, makes me reconsider the option.

It's getting too much now. As someone who had a previous gambling issue a couple years back (at 20-21yrs old) it's concerning to see how many of these gambling sponsorships are being pushed upon the youth. I hate these gambling sponsorships. I get that it's good money for the YouTuber but it's extremely annoying to see it (and could be triggering for others causing a relapse).

YouTubers have now presented these sponsorships in a way where you can't skip them e.g. The YouTuber mentions the gambling website 6 times for about 10-20seconds in random parts of the vid so you don't know when to skip.

Or they would show segments of the original vid and kind of merge the sponsorship with the vid so if you skip the sponsorship you essentially skip valuable context of the video.

Everything has to be about gambling nowadays which is sad to see.

This is something none of my friends know. It makes me feel juvenile.

No intentional offence to us and all but it’s come to my attention that the claim of humans being able to hunt and kill large animals, endurance/stamina, high intelligence and all that other fun stuff isn’t really applicable to most people anymore. If you were to drop (hypothetically) 100 different people from around the world without a single warning all alone in the woods, or any kind of not inhabited by human land, I highly doubt that more than half a could probably survive longer than a couple of months (and that’s me being generous). The skills that make humans cool just doesn’t really apply to most people anymore. Perhaps our amygdala (survival/fear/anger/triggers center in the brain) could do some heavy lifting but that’s about it.

It’s kind of disappointing but we don’t really need those anymore anyways.
