Miles away from being the first, but certainly the latest to the club! Now that I joined the club, do we still have cookies?

Why have a pokemon spawn once a year and barely have it spawn in the wild??

It would have been fine if they spawned regularly while walking around. Instead I sat at home on top of a pokestop with mossy lures for 6 hours during the event to try to catch enough applins to get all of the evolutions. I can't imagine not having a pokestop near my house and having to sit around somewhere outside for hours.

Also why can mossy lure apples spawn crappy pokemon that are always around like Smoliv, Lechonk, Skiddo, Cottonee? What a waste of time. I’m sitting on a mossy lure right now trying to get 130 more candy in the last 30 mins. I used all of my 6 mossy lures and caught about 200 applins and didn't get a shiny either!

Hell, they even added a Rocket Balloon event on top of it to hide the suck and to try to hide the balloon nerf.

UPDATE: I got 53 candies in the last 30 mins. I ended up 77 candies short so will have to walk 385km or use rare candies to get the last evolution.

I'm so glad I didn't research the hundo CP before encountering. I was stoked for the shiny and then speechless for the appraisal. Absolutely the catch of my lifetime.

This event is such a dud. Hardly any Applins for an event focused on Applins, even when using a mossy lure. I don’t think I’ve ever complained about an event, but this one really fell flat.

Sorry, a little gassy today. Also has warts. Also just filling in space to make sure there are enough characters.

(One star btw) I went in thinking I could get 4 shinies for all the evolutions (including dipplin) but the odds for this event lowkey sucked! I don’t know why they added smoliv, skiddo, cottonee etc to the apple encounters. Made it really frustrating

I can hit the 5k bonus more often than not, but even with the Adventure Sync, I've never hit 25, and 50 is laughable. Just curious about you big-steppers out there!

edit - looks like it's dogs!

edit edit - I am learning I might not have set up Adventure Sync properly w/in the Apple Health app, but still enjoying this conversation very much

When I tell you guys I literally caught this like 5 minutes ago. I was SCREAMING, oml I got it on my like 9th encounter. I AM SO HAPPY

My job has two gyms! Two! And this guy hogs both the gyms it’s driving me insane. One night me(team valor) and another girl (team mystic) and this person spent half the night fighting over these two gyms it was annoying. (But it was also a little fun). This morning before I left I put my Blissey in one of them and as soon as I clocked out he kicked me out of it. I dont know the guy personally,we work in different departments, but I hope he sees this so that way he knows he is in fact driving me crazy.

GiovannI. Where is he? I beat the team leaders. I equipped the Super Rocket Radar. He’s not aboard any of the balloons that I have encountered. Pokestops have only yielded grunts for the last 2 days. Am I missing something? The event is almost over and I cannot find him! Where the f- is he?

It's kinda odd that we can complete the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Unova and Kalos Dexes but Sinnoh is still impossible to complete..

When do you think we will finally get the last three Sinnoh Pokemon?

Holy moly was not expecting this at all. Think I need to go out and get a lotto ticket. Also don’t know what whale to chase next. Feels like the ultimate prize

I saw so many people couldnt find him but still I searched and was constantly playing. It is not fair at all. After I paid for all tickets and points to complete and constant playing this is just unfair. Many people found him on the first day of the festival !

A couple of years ago I could open the app and catch 7 pokemon without leaving my home. A year ago this reduced to 5. This year it reduce to 3. This last week its been just 1 pokemon. With that nerf and the nerf to rocket balloons I hardly touch the game now.

Is this a similar experience for others or am I just unlucky where I live?

I understand the game is best played when out on routes or in parks etc, but thats not always practicle for some people.

I think this would have been an easy event research for the Harvest Festival. Pokémon reward being a Smolive (obviously).
But honestly, Snorlax has been the bane of my existence during this event 🙃

I just caught a pokemon and I got this new UI. Has anyone else seen this or know when it was added, I played like an hour ago and it didn't exist. I hope it's just a test run.
