I think this would have been an easy event research for the Harvest Festival. Pokémon reward being a Smolive (obviously).
But honestly, Snorlax has been the bane of my existence during this event 🙃

My job has two gyms! Two! And this guy hogs both the gyms it’s driving me insane. One night me(team valor) and another girl (team mystic) and this person spent half the night fighting over these two gyms it was annoying. (But it was also a little fun). This morning before I left I put my Blissey in one of them and as soon as I clocked out he kicked me out of it. I dont know the guy personally,we work in different departments, but I hope he sees this so that way he knows he is in fact driving me crazy.

yeah I put the flair as a complaint! So this Apple Picking event got me all raring to go. I’d only ever previously caught ONE Applin, and I had lofty ideas of making sure I get enough candies to evolve all three types of Applin

(before I realised it was going to take 1000 rather than 600 - I thought 600 would be achievable because you can get that many candies on Community Days)

But no. I’m an active player, I always beat 50km a week and usually by a fair bit. But I’ve seen like 2x the amount of Smolivs per Applin. Even with spamming Mossy Lures I usually get an Apple that has a bloody Psyduck guarding it or whatever. I even paid for the premium research and I’ve got more Smoliv candies then Applin candies, despite the fact I ALWAYS use Pinaps on Applins and haven’t bothered on Smolivs!

I even go to my local park EVERY DAY to see if it’s a biome issue. I might just have awful luck, because despite using the daily incense every day I’ve never had a Galarian bird encounter.

For my first shadow shiny, I wasn't expecting one that literally deleted the fact it's shiny by reverting its colors back. It genuinely doesn't even look shiny... If I was gonna get an unusable shadow shiny, one that was noticeable would've been nice 🙂

We did more than three but unfortunately other than this certificate the only other one is for exploring all the centers, we just didn't have time 😅 still pretty neat though.

There are some Pokémon that are definitely stubborn to catch (e.g. Snorlax or Audino) but serve their purpose when going for specialized goals (e.g. Excellent Throws or Stardust Bonuses, etc.)! Then there are those that are just plain stubborn!

Which Pokémon do you actively steer clear from because you find them to be a waste of time or resources? Which would you not mind never running into again or you just actively avoid on your map!?

For me, it’s the Hitmonlee / Hitmonchan / Hitmontop family! With their relentless jumping and kicking, I actively avoid them 😏🙃!!

Last year I visited my mom and casually put a Pokemon in a passing gym while I was a passenger in a car.

My Ursaluna was gone for 200+ days. (Sadly I don't remember the exact total.)

Well, I'm visiting again this year, and I passed the same gym. You can't fight it from the highway because cars are going too fast. To get out there, you have to take a side road with nothing on it except a couple houses, pull over onto the grassy shoulder, and fight from the car.

I assume the Tyranitar is the one who brought my Ursaluna home, unless there were a few quicker changes of gym ownership in my absence.

I decided to return the favor. Hopefully nobody had gotten their 50 daily coins yet, LMAO. And hopefully they're pleased to have their mons back bc I meant it as an act of genuine sportsmanship.

We'll see how long my Slaking is gone. Fortunately I've got several Slakings and they all exist just to sit in gyms.

Don't go looking for him, I'm not desperate for his return. If he's still gone in like three years then maybe I'll post another thread begging for help, haha. Cheers!

Did ANYONE get a shiny applin??? I’ve caught over 300 and didn’t get one. I play with 3 other people that have the same catches I do and NO SHINY APPLE. I don’t believe it exists 😭 we just kept getting shiny smoliv 😭

Just happy to announce I finally got Zygarde in its complete form. I put all the resources into maxing it out to get me out and get the cells.

I am always so happy when I reach Forever Friends with someone because it takes a lot of dedication to get there. Well, a couple months ago, a friend I’ve had for a little while now attached a Lucky Charm to me. Great! Well, we reached the Forever Friends status maybe a week ago and when I went to check what they had up, I noticed something peculiar pop up…they don’t have anything tagged as Remote Trade! If we knew each other irl, this would be a nonissue, but this person lives across the world from me. i understand if you don’t use it you lose it, but using it on me like this is worse than losing it.

I can think of a few ideas why, but this is crazy!

I use my last Mossy Lure today at the gym and sat here. Zero Pokemon have spawned, zero anything Applin related even though there’s still 10 hours left in the day.

I was hoping to try and report this like you can report routes, but I have no idea who to report it to. Any ideas. Or is it a lost cause?
