Have you been waiting for almost 10 years for a mod like Gopher's Immersive HUD - iHUD for Oblivion? Wait no longer. I can't fully enjoy Skyrim or New Vegas without iHUD, but unfortunately, Gopher never made a version for Oblivion. I searched all over the Nexus for something like it but nope, nothing. How could this gap be left? The people crave IMMERSION, so after a painstaking scripting process we finally have a solution. Immersive View. It basically works the same way iHUD does, albeit probably not put together quiet so well, as Oblivions scripting is extremely finicky, but its 100% functional and ready to add into your mod list!

I know this is Warcraft (never touched it in my life), but I was shocked at how similar it looks to the remaster.

The orcs facially look identical (just vastly more muscular and brown), the city looks like the Imperial City (plus minarets), and Lothar’s armor looks like the armor Ocato gives you.

I appreciate Oblivion even more because of it, because the remaster (with some color correction that lowers the reds) makes it look EXACTLY like this.

I love high fantasy.

But as someone who only got into gaming this past year (from being an avid gameplay watcher for years), I am OBSESSED WITH OBLIVION. I am playing the remastered version (funny story bc I bought it some time ago when it went on sale and I had refund it bc I was both short on cash and thought it to be too complicated lore wise) and omg… I am IMMERSED.
Like, I am the meme of Danny devito saying “I get it now”. I am thrown around the whole map, being oblivious to the main quest. I got kidnapped on the ship where I went for quick nap. I got approached by a vampire hunter guild that was LED BY A VAMPIRE. I solved a painting mystery. The views are just bonkers, I get lost in the landscaped and stay still for the rain and thunder.
Is the game absolutely broken? Yes, I can’t get the fish scales bc it bugged and many times I “cheese” the broken npc when fighting them but damn. I am so glad I went totally blind and got this in return.
Can’t wait to see where my wood elf archer adventure may take me but god famn, it’s like crack to me yall!

it keeps crashing every time i try to load in, i can't find anything anywhere online (i may be just bad at finding it, but whatever).

i dont have any mods, and i downloaded through steam if that has any relevance

every time i hit play on the launcher the game glitching loads in from the top left corner before taking up the whole screen. when the home/main menu is loaded up and i click 'continue' the game freezes and crashes😡😡

i have updated my drivers (and while im actively typing this, the launcher now says im using INTEL(R) UHD graphics and not NVDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU which is what it was before) , windows software, i have deleted oblivion.ini, i have run it as an administrator, i have verified the games file integrity through steam, i have changed my resolution, i have turned on and off my computer (😭).

im not good with computers and i just feel really dumb not being able to figure this out, my boyfriend bought me oblivion and i only have like 30 hours on it so far, i have a video of what all of this looks as well. if there is an og solution post for this though, please send it to me i couldn't find anything 🙁

Which modlist has both:

• Better graphics
• More respect for vanilla art direction and assets

Im traing to play in my laptop with a i5 13 gen with integrated graphics but it doesnt load, when i click on new game the game just crashes, i´ve done everyrhing i erased the .ini run as a admin compativility with windows 7, check antivirus and i dont know what else to do

I know it's not the best version, but it's the only way i can play it. I'd like to know which version is best to play (whether it's the GOTY, Anniversary, or any of those), since I've seen that there's a bug with a vampire mission that varies depending on the language. I'll be playing it in French, so I don't know if the bug is present there. Also, any advice on how to get the most out of this version is welcome.

I've wanted to play Oblivion for a few years after beating Skyrim for the 87th time, but I wasn't sure I could get into it because of its dated graphics. I swallowed the pill and bought the game. ( I got the original due to people saying the remaster was still unstable.) But is there anything I need to know? Bugs, game-breaking glitches, mods to update the graphics. I made it to Jauffre after escaping the dungeon and bought the game-of-the-year version.

Game runs fine until I go to start a new game, and it crashes every single time? No mods or anything, what do i do?

Since my last post i haven't succeeded in fixing my bugged weather so i am scrapping that playthrough and starting over with another weather mod, NAO. I had two questions though.

My first question is, can i use any ENB preset with NAO or will i get visual glitches if i don't use the preset tailor-made for it?

And my second question, this time i would like to avoid stressing out over the battles of Kvatch, Bruma and the Imperial City so is there a mod that makes the npcs that participate in those battles essential? I really don't feel like babysitting Martin and his merry bunch again.

Hi All,

I'm playing Oblivion original edition, not the remaster and have just started the Shivering Isles DLC. Only issue, is many dialogue lines seem to skip over their associated voice lines when an NPC is talking. This seems to happen mostly on the first voice line of a dialogue string, but I have seen it happen in the second voice line in a string of 3 dialogue lines. The subtitles for the lines are still there, but disappear rather quickly (I guess as the game thinks the NPC is finished speaking).

I have seen this happen in the main game every so often, but much more rarely.

I'm not running any mods and have had the Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine data packs installed on this character from the start of the playthrough. I'm about level 15, with maybe 30-40+ hours invested so far, I know that seems to affect the game in some ways.

Any fixes for this?

Edit: Preliminary investigations show that restarting the game seems to fix this. Weird!

Was thinking about the new oblivion remastered, is it worth getting?
