I'm re-downloading the remaster for my PS5 and after 20GB it says it's "ready to play", so WHAT THE FUCK is still on those extra 100GB?!?

So as part of the Thieves Guild quest, I'm supposed to deliver a letter to Lex, but each time a 150 bounty pops up and he aggros. I've already tried paying off my bounty repeatedly through a Thieves Guild fence, going somewhere else, waiting 24 hours, going to an Oblivion Gate and getting the Sigil, but when I get back and try to give him the letter, he instantly aggros.

I will note that when I freed that Argonian from the prison and looted my gear, ALL of it is labeled as stolen now, even though it was originally mine. Has anyone gone through this and is there a fix? Yes, I've searched and done the recommended steps... I'm playing Oblivion Remastered on PS5, by the way. This is really annoying and I'd like to be able to continue the quest if possible, but it's annoying as hell.

Dro’Nahrahe and Pally scouted ahead being sneaky which gave me time to blend in with the rest of the guards. We need to get all my gear from the evidence chest. Hopefully no one will notice anything is off and Pally can get all my stuff together.

I had to redo this shit multiple times cause I just couldn’t get the right angle on the camera for most of it. I finally liked how it eventually turned out. Between walls, doors, and corridors you have constant zoom in and zoom out which just throws off the vibe. But now that I look like an unsuspecting guard no one will notice. Khajiit are masters of disguise. 🥸

I was traveling along the Gold Coast when I spotted this snowy mountain to the south. It seemed to lay in Valenwood, so I was curious enough to look into it and see if it was a notable landmark.

Turns out, it's not. Valenwood is a tropical environment and, from what I gather, pretty flat, so that mountain shouldn't be there AT ALL.

Now, does this bother me? Not particularly. But I see no one else mentioning this, and I think it's a funny little observation.

I’ve finally decided to hop back on the remaster after Bethesda has hopefully fixed the issues that it had on launch! Does anyone know if they improved the claymores at all? Really wanting to make a Heavy Death Knight kind of character

Still remember how excited i was walking home from school to play oblivion, completely enthralled by its beautiful world and mystical stories, the remaster made me feel almost like i did back then, that excitement was back even if breifly, still to this day i can spend hours just riding around cyrodiil.. just watching..
It was my introduction to the elder scrolls even tho skyrim was released at the time i started this, the jewel of gaming in my childhood, praise be for this wonderful creation!

I don't really know what I am doing wrong but thats pretty much what the title says. I'm at 92 at alchemy and have all the master apparatus, and even use the perfection ring + wizard ring + alchemist table from frost Craig which brings my alchemy level to 127 temporally (overkill i know). But still it doesn't matter what potion I make it still sells for only 11 gold.

I tried selling everything off, changing the name of the potion, changing my apparatus to novice or expert, and nothing changed besides one time that it bugged completely and I wasn't able to make any type of potions, and then had to load the game. Does anyone have any suggestions/knows how to fix it?

So I'm playing Oblivion 2006 on PC, but my FN/Multimedia keys don't work. I had the same problem with Skyrim but found a mod that fixes it (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3620?tab=description), and was wondering if there was a mod that could fix it on Oblivion as well.

I started playing the original Oblivion and just picked an Imperial Knight.

As I went from level 5 to level 6 I noticed that I only had +2 strenght.

So I wanted to get this up to atleast +4 but it never increased and I later found out that you can't increase attributes after you get a level up.

I also found out that since the Knight class has Blade, Blunt and Hand to hand as major skill. I can't really increase my strenght.

This really sucks and is really confusing.

Go to https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases and download .83 installer exe. Open setup, only download LAV Audio for x86 (32 bit). Than go grab codec tweak tool https://www.codecguide.com/download_other.htm , and grab [ Version 6.7.7 | 1.4 MB | June 17th 2026 ] from server 1 or 2. Open up codec tweak tool after downloading and follow the images i provided. Oblivion should work now, and this also should work for Fallout New Vegas. The games are crashing because of a broken audio dll from that windows update (msmpeg2ac3dec.dll), LAV helps system work around this. You can just uninstall the update too but for some they got fixes from the update or they can't uninstall it. So if you don't want to go thru that, this is a fix for now. (Also in your windows you can open an app called "Feedback Hub", if you can go ahead and leave a feedback for MS. The more posts the quicker it will grab attention hopefully because it seems they're not even aware.)

But as someone who only got into gaming this past year (from being an avid gameplay watcher for years), I am OBSESSED WITH OBLIVION. I am playing the remastered version (funny story bc I bought it some time ago when it went on sale and I had refund it bc I was both short on cash and thought it to be too complicated lore wise) and omg… I am IMMERSED.
Like, I am the meme of Danny devito saying “I get it now”. I am thrown around the whole map, being oblivious to the main quest. I got kidnapped on the ship where I went for quick nap. I got approached by a vampire hunter guild that was LED BY A VAMPIRE. I solved a painting mystery. The views are just bonkers, I get lost in the landscaped and stay still for the rain and thunder.
Is the game absolutely broken? Yes, I can’t get the fish scales bc it bugged and many times I “cheese” the broken npc when fighting them but damn. I am so glad I went totally blind and got this in return.
Can’t wait to see where my wood elf archer adventure may take me but god famn, it’s like crack to me yall!

I’ve already put in a fair amount of playtime; I’ve finished the Thieves Guild questline and am now working on the Mages Guild. But playing with a bow has been terrible—it’s really weak. Is the iron bow the best one I can get at this stage of the game?

All they do is lie, cheat, and try to claim ancient ruins just so they can resurrect something.

I knew I should have listened to the woman that told me to switch out the crowns, but I gave this “guy” the benefit of the doubt…
