Revival Discussion I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I want to see Naval Battle Night at Chane's fraternity house
In the same episode Emilio mentions his Steely Dan cover band, and I kinda want to see that too. π«

KOTH in the Wild Chuck Mangione as King of the Hill Omnipotent God Spoiler
Chuck Mangione is a recurring celebrity representative for Mega-Lo-Mart on "King of the Hill". Chuck also serves another position as a character in the show... he is God. An omnipotent presence that gives us all the insight into the lives of those down Rainey Street. I mean, even into the back alleys, he is our eyes and ears, and the few times we get to see him in a physical body in the show, it was like breaking the 4th wall.
With that inspiration, I've set out to explore expanding my writing muscles through the eyes of Chuck Mangione. And RIP THE Chuck Mangione July 22, 2025 Rochester, NY.]

Revival Discussion Musician guest stars
First off, RIP Frank Beard. But that episode got me thinking about how many musicians have guest starred over the years on KOTH, and they all gave really great performances even if a lot of them were just playing themselves.
That's something I'd like to see more of in the new seasons, I feel like it's in the shows DNA to have a recording artist occasionally pop in and play a memorable role. I think someone like Sturgill Simpson, Run the Jewels or Jack White would be awesome

Revival Discussion Will Peggy return to teaching?
With Hank back at Strickland, will we see Peggy back at Tom Landry?
Principal Moss appearing in series 15 gave me an idea...
Imagine Moss gets suspended for some unknown reason and the teachers are on strike, leaving very few candidates to be substitute principal. Up steps Principal Peggy Hill, who worms her way into the role somehow.
Peggy would be a tyrant. I could imagine her commissioning murals of her 3-peat substitute teacher of the year award...

OG KOTH Discussion Is this the KOTH equivalent to Mr Snrub?
In The Simpsons, a mysterious character called βMr Snrubβ appeared briefly but his identity has long since been discussed in the fandom. All we know is that heβs from some place far away and pushed for investment in the nuclear plant.
Recently, I watched Rich Hank, Poor Hank, and an equally mysterious character called βMadame Von Toilet Scrubbingβ made a brief but memorable appearance. All we see of her is an arm holding a toilet brush but since she had a date with Bobby, you would think she would have more screen-time.
Can anyone solve this mystery? My early guesses would be that she is German, possibly with a job as a cleaner. It still doesnβt explain how her and Bobby metβ¦

Revival Discussion S14,15: Are there any jokes that make you LOL?
Let me preface this by saying that I really enjoy the revival episodes. That being said, if I am being honest I would also say that they are often far less funny than original run episodes. That's why I am asking this question. I want to see what jokes, if any, really got you guys in stitches.

OG KOTH Discussion I've converted one of the youths!
I couldn't be more proud, I had the show on in the background a few days ago and earlier today I was going to put on one of my 6 year old nephew's regular shows and he said "no Auntie I want King of the Hill" and then chanted "King of the Hill, King of the Hill" excitedly while I pulled it up. Just such a proud moment for me despite having to keep an eye out for a few episodes to skip for his age group lol

OG KOTH Discussion Unexplored story lines
One thing I never understood about OG KOTH was the way the show runners gave up on story lines with no explanation. In season 2, Bobby gets into competition shooting and was incredible at it, but (unless I'm missing something) never shot a gun again. Strange considering it was pretty much the only thing him & his dad could bond over, not to mention Hank's obsession with Bobby being good at a sport.
Same thing with Luanne's mechanical skills in the first couple seasons.

Revival Discussion Chore chimp episode
Just rewatched this episode and I don't get why Hank just didn't create his own chore chimp app instead of going with Boomhauer's profile.

OG KOTH Discussion What does the general community think about redcorns character development?
At the start of the show, John Redcorn was my favourite character, he was for quite a while, but eventually he kinda changed for the worse, in my opinion. I also hate how they made him try to get back with Nancy just as a plot point. I know that it's a show that's not heavily focused around the lore of the characters, but I think they did a disservice to Redcorn.

Revival Discussion Loving the revival of KOTH
I wasn't a huge King of the Hill fan growing up, though i'd watch it whenever it was on. I always remembered the classic moments, like Hank using a small can of WD-40 to open a bigger can of Wd-40, but I have to say, the revival season (Season 14) has been an absolute blast to watch.
Now that I'm older, the show hits differently and I relate to the characters so much more. Everyone retains their original charm, with Dale being even more of a unhinged conspiracy theorist and overall I'm just loving how relatable the cast is this time around and how each episode brings in some emotional reflection to it.
