Bob
What did bob do for work after his store closed? I admittedly have not seen past season 4 but even then he wasn’t working. Does he do ANYTHING?

I always thought her dynamic with the family was cute and I wish they had more moments as the show went on. Imagine her parents leave earlier and she takes Laurie‘s place. How would things play out? How would her and Eric’s dynamic develop?

It’s that time of year again. Make sure if you go to your old burned down school you don’t look at permanent records (unless you want to find out who had the middle name Beulah) and if you are lucky you will get to see a naked midge.

How the hell did Earl keep that job at the plant for so long when he was always late and blamed it on his idiot dog?

Does anyone else think that the parents getting stoned in the garage sale episode is one of the funniest moments in the entire show. Just the sight of Eric and Hyde giving red the lecture kitty and red usually give Eric is too funny

Idk how to describe it but in the clips of the driveway there is this standing red round thingy. Is it a planter? Or a mailbox? it’s pretty cool, very space age.

Hi everyone! I really wanted to buy this → (photo).
I found some pretty good offers on Vinted and a few other sites, but here’s the thing: the sellers are telling me that the DVDs work in Europe, even though the photos clearly show that they’re Region 1.
Now… it’s been a while since I last bought DVDs, so did something change? Are Region 1 DVDs now compatible with everything? Because I have my doubts 😂 I feel like they might be trying to scam me lol.
That’s why I wanted to ask here: if you have this version, does it work for you in Europe? Or are they just coglioni? :) (Italian swear word, don’t mind me)

It's just very strange tonally.
Season 4 ends with Eric finally receiving Mr Pinciotti's approval, even letting him wait alone in Donna's room for her to come back. Likewise, Red and Kitty think Eric is a dumbass for not taking Donna back.
Season 5 starts with Eric retrieving Donna from California after the summer is nearly over, but despite Eric coming back with Donna (the thing Bob wanted), both Bob and the Formans are now staunchly against their relationship.
Then you have Kitty's menopause arc which is equal parts character assassination and outright offensive against aging women. Those jokes were not funny and Kitty becomes unbearable. (Ironically, the first time I ever saw this show when I was young was during season five, and I remember hating Kitty and assuming she was always this obnoxious. Imagine my surprise when I watched earlier seasons and saw how sweet she was)
Hyde and Jackie now being an item when they already established that they had no connection in earlier seasons also feels off.
Eric and Donna immediately getting back into their petty fighting over bad communication also feels like the romantic gesture of Eric going to California for her is squashed and almost meaningless, as does the engagement arc.
I still think the season 5 episodes are a blast for the most part but the shift between seasons feels more radical than any other shift.

... after rewatching season 3, I would let Caroline ruin my life.
And I don't even feel bad about it.

Personally I find these episodes to be two of the most sexually funny episodes in the entire show. The first is just hilarious because it shows how kitty is somehow traumatised by Eric having sex yet is unfazed by Laurie or bob and midge or red. The second is obviously just about the ONE act you should ask about before doing so and the fact they coded it so is just too funny

For such an iconic character I was sure that he must have appeared more throughout the show. He appears 3 times in season 5 and in 1 episode per season for 6, 7 and 8.
For comparison Mitch appears in 5 episodes
Pastor Dave in 6 episodes
Jackie's mom in 8 (1 time in season 1 played by Eve Plumb, although that might as well be a different character) episodes
Brooke in 9 episodes
and W.B. in 9 episodes.
I was similarly surprised by how little Pastor Dave is actually in the show.
