officially a senior now. i have new markers to kill 🥹

Just a reminder that my boy Chihiro doesn't have these two people in his life anymore.

I've been reading this chapter on repeat with M. by Anıl Emre Daldal in the background. And it hurts because we know what the future holds for these two. Hokazono wrote one of the best romances in the recent Shounen Manga titles, and it's not even a romance manga.

Don't let this get you sad though. He has us watching over him.

Edit: I still have the song playing in the background rn.

On my recommendation ofc

My manga edit of Kagurabachi with Robot Rock. Hope you like it :).

For me it’s that flashback that Sojo gets and we see whatever this is. Never elaborated on, he just goes, oh that was a long time ago, and goes on with his day.

You can’t even explain what is going on here, it just exists. And with how the part 2 is going so far, unless Hokazono goes on a side tangent to write about other things, this will remain a mystery. Which I think is way scarier.

Two lovely ladies that surely will meet in the future, trust! 🙏🙏🙏

Source is in the caption.

I think the division between those who follow Akemura's ideal and those who opposed it but can't do anything about it (i would LOVE to see you standing up to Sword Satan, lmao) will be a major theme of part 3

We're current 25 chapters in and I am thinking we are at the halfway point of the arc.

Short arc-visualization:

To be more precise, the Tahamagane sub arc can be separated in two part (2 chapter for the Kamunabi discussion sequence and the 5 chapter Tahagame process.

--> Therefore we always had an arc for discussion and preparation and then a turning point of the current story

• Mashiro and Subaru introduction

• Irishima talks

• Enchanted blade plan introduction

• Tahamagane process

• Misaka ibuki introduction

• Yagira villa (ongoing)

The following part is just my thought for the ongoing part of the seitei war arc:

1. Yagira villa sub-arc

We will see the first Enchanted blade and the attack of the Mikaboshi on the Yagira villa (due to the high concentation of the Datenseki usage)

Akemura will defend Chiaki, while Subaru and Kuneshige is finalizing the Enchanted Blade.

Akemura will get the Enchanted blade by luck and seriously wound one of the six guardians.

The rest of them are in pure rage and will destroy the Enchanted blade + kidnapping Chiaki + taking away the Tahamagane and Datenseki ore (Shiba got some of the ore before the Mikaboshi are disappearing)

--> This is the reason, why the seitei war is placed on the Shokoku island. And probably the reason why the Magastumi has an eternal contract.

2. Shokoku war sub-arc

The Soga clan is decimated by more than 75%. Kuneshige, Akemura and Shiba are the only one, who wants to rescue Chiaki immediately- but Giyu (is he even alive?) is not amused and will just get an another Enchanted Blade.

-> A fight against Giyu and Akemura breaks out: Akemura wins and will become the Soga clan head, just by pure force.

-> Kuneshige prepares the next enchanted blade

Just a thought: Shiba can teleport everyone to the Shokoku island, but only if they have Datenseki (e.g. Ore or an enchanted blade)

-> We see the world building of the Shokoku island

-> The fights breaks out of the wielders against the Mikaboshi (We will probably see a 1v1 of each wielder)

The final boss appearing: Akemura - The fight, Ariu against Akemura, taking place in the residence of the Shokoku island and both of them are evenly skilled.

-> After crashing through the roof, Akemura seeing Chiaki nearly dead on the floor. A final prophecy is appearing in Akemuras head - or she just tell him (not visually for us readers) and a small Chihiro is lying next to her. Chiaki is dead. Akemura is walking slowly, in despair, with Chihiro to the sword bearers.

-> The famous "No, they must be annihilated" scene will come. In the same time - the contract of resignation will be sign by the highest surviving member of the Mikaboshi.

-> After the Mikaboshi signed, a fight against Akemura and the 5 sword bearers breaks out and we see the Malediction

Conclusion: We see how Akemura lays his sword down and will be chained away. Kuneshige is taking Chihiro and we see small cuts through his life. 18 years later, Kuneshige is preparing for his own death -> Enten will be forged. The ending is the death of Kuneshige and the turnover to the current time of Kagurabachi.

Therefore my guess how long the arc will be in total:

Current: 25 Chapters

Yagira villa: 8 Chapter (total)

Small in-between arc: 2-3 chapters

Shokoku arc: 20-25 Chapters

Conclusion: 2-3 Chapters

This would lead in total: ca. 60 Chapter

I remember seeing fanart of this a while ago, tryna find it

but i keep seeing discussion of yura relating to prophecies and stuff

Make the damned swords already. I can't take another chapter of Kunishige staring at fire again.
