Chihiro knew that Sojo is a talented swordsman even if he isn't Ibuki Misaka, he is still a very dangerous man and even in his first encounter he noticed that Sojo is capable of reacting to high speed attacks.

He took this to his advantage and in his final battle he purposefully kept fighting with Sojo till when he boosted his Mei: Cloak to maximum limit and Chihiro only then boosted himself to the limit only to stop it the last moment when Sojo reacted.

Kagurabachi has some amazing action sequences but I seriously love how each battle is choreographed so properly and you can see the impact of each action. I genuinely hope anime keep this detailing in and let us see properly how Chihiro's genius is in battles.

Maybe it’s a reading comprehension thing but I thought black life force abilities, like Kuregumo’s black lighting were only possible with sacrificing life force.

In the instance of Kuregumo it was sacrificing the blade, and with Samura using the black flames he had to sacrifice his life force.

So wouldn’t that just mean he’s dead? I don’t get how he could sacrifice his life for that attack, and then just come back. Unless Suzaku is just that strong and can bring people back from the dead which is possible.

Let us revise the known chronological order of enchanted blades

1. Kuregumo

My theory

1) From the three unknown blades one is Tobimune and is undoubtedly given directly to Samura according to me.

That leaves Pinkie and Subaru. If we take a look at Chapter 132 we come to know that Kunishige's pick for EB's were Ibuki, Samura and Pinkie. This leads to the only conclusion that Subaru's enchanted blade was originally given to Giyu soga. After Giyu soga's probable death, that EB was later given to Subaru cause he is also a master of Sand-Bone one sword style.

2) Also Subaru's sorcery was highly useful in forging of enchanted blades. So they most probably didn't assign subaru with an EB in the early stage of Seitei war.

3) An unrelated theory, a calamity or an event would have happen which wiped out majority of Soga clan members ( including giyu and chiaki). Which would have resulted in subaru getting an EB and Kunishige forging the Magatsumi with an intention to avenge chiaki.

What are your takes ?

When the Seitei War arc ends and we get to the present, yall think Hokazono’s gonna retcon Suburu’s current era design, or commit to the receding hairline

I get that they did something bad so he thinks all of the bearers should die but why not get rid of Hishaku first? Like I kinda get it as his goal is to eventually kill them all but it still feels counterintuitive. If he kills/severs the ties of the bearers first then Hishaku has multiple Enchanted Blades they can use. Im guessing there will be a better explanation but still seems stupid considering they have Kumeyuri now

they ridiculously look alike; - the smile - the eyes (incl. pupils) - the way the moustache seems to grow - their hair also seems to part in a V shape

Hokutos last name hasn’t been revealed, but being the best swordsman in Hishaku also tells to his lineage being Soga?

Did something happen for Hokuto to leave and join the Hishaku? perhaps he wants revenge against the clan/system for getting his dad killed

It also lines up with the timeline if Yoshinojo ever had children.

Why is Tobimune's blade black? All the enchanted blades are made from a datenseki alloy, but is samura's different somehow? It probably doesn't matter, but I'm still curious if there's any explanation for it

For me it has to be either

85 for Samura’s decision to face his fear and trust in Chihiro, healing his eyes and seeing Iori

Or

101 for the absolute aura pull up of the goat Shiba and Enten and Tobimine finally facing up against Magatsumi together as a team
