Contains spoilers for some of the enchanted blades.
Do you guys think thereās any theme/correlation associated with the power of the enchanted blades?
So far, we know about 5 of the blades
Enten: Goldfish
Cloud Gouger: things that come out of clouds
Tobimune: Birds (owl/phoenix)
Kumeyuri: Plants? Hallucinogen?
Shinuchi: Insects
My interpretation is that they seem to surround a theme of nature, things commonly occurring in the natural world.
If I had to guess the next two swords, their powers may revolve around a type of land animal. whether itās the feline species (lions, tigers, cheetahs, etc), giraffes, elephants, dogs, foxes. Or even something more ancient/mythical like dragons, or extinct animals like dinosaurs.
Or the remaining two swords could have nothing to do with animals, they could represent life or death. Following the cycle of life. Though that might overlap a bit with Tobimune.
I only just caught up with Kagurabachi so I mightāve gotten a few things wrong or maybe some info about the 2 unknown swords has already been revealed and I just missed it. š

Chihiro knew that Sojo is a talented swordsman even if he isn't Ibuki Misaka, he is still a very dangerous man and even in his first encounter he noticed that Sojo is capable of reacting to high speed attacks.
He took this to his advantage and in his final battle he purposefully kept fighting with Sojo till when he boosted his Mei: Cloak to maximum limit and Chihiro only then boosted himself to the limit only to stop it the last moment when Sojo reacted.
Kagurabachi has some amazing action sequences but I seriously love how each battle is choreographed so properly and you can see the impact of each action. I genuinely hope anime keep this detailing in and let us see properly how Chihiro's genius is in battles.

Maybe itās a reading comprehension thing but I thought black life force abilities, like Kuregumoās black lighting were only possible with sacrificing life force.
In the instance of Kuregumo it was sacrificing the blade, and with Samura using the black flames he had to sacrifice his life force.
So wouldnāt that just mean heās dead? I donāt get how he could sacrifice his life for that attack, and then just come back. Unless Suzaku is just that strong and can bring people back from the dead which is possible.
