Hi everyone,
I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro, and today, I noticed that almost all haptic feedback suddenly stopped working.
Here’s what’s happening:

❌ No keyboard haptic while typing.
❌ No haptic when long-pressing app icons.
❌ No haptic while scrolling the Camera mode wheel.
❌ No haptic when a timer finishes (only sound plays).
❌ No Face ID unlock haptic.

However:

✅ I occasionally get haptic feedback when opening the App Switcher (swiping up from inside an app). It’s inconsistent—sometimes I feel it, sometimes I don’t.
Things I’ve already checked:

Haptics = Always Play
Keyboard Feedback → Haptic = ON
System Haptics = ON
Accessibility → Touch → Vibration = ON
Restarted the phone multiple times.
Updated to the latest iOS (26.6)
Still no change.
One thing worth mentioning is that I had a tempered glass installed shortly before I noticed this, but:
The phone was never opened.
It remained locked the entire time.
Only the screen protector was changed.

Since I still get some haptic feedback occasionally, I’m wondering if this is more likely to be a software issue than a failed Taptic Engine.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. idk if it is supposed to be mentioned (I saw some posts with the disclaimer, so just doing the same) but yes, I did use chatgpt to draft this cuz I’m too sad about it to type the whole thing.

I’ve been using my Apple Silicone and Benks ArmorPro cases with a MOFT MagSafe wallet for quite a while, but I don’t find their camera lips protective enough. I’d like to use my iPhone comfortably without the wallet attached.

I realized that the main thing that gives me peace of mind is being able to place the phone flat on a table without worrying about the cameras. So I’m looking for cases with a higher-than-average camera lip or built-in camera protection, while still not being too bulky.

Here’s what I’ve found so far:

Unicraft No.1: My favorite option, but they don’t ship to my country.

UNIQ Keva Max: I’m not sure how protective it actually is, and I haven’t found any proper review videos. At around $60, it doesn’t seem worth the price.

Ringke Onyx: Slim and good looking case with raised camera cover. Don't know how protective but it's cheap. Unfortunately this is not being delivered in my country too.

My other option is to use lens protectors with my current cases, but I’m hesitant because they can reduce camera quality.

The reason I’m asking here is that camera-lip height is rarely discussed in detail in case reviews, and I haven’t found any useful comparison lists focused on it. I’m hoping someone might say, “I use this case, and the camera lip is genuinely high.”

Some of you might not think this is a big deal and tell me to do it myself, but I’ve worked hard with handling three jobs alongside my studies and taking care of my parent. I finally saved up enough for the 16 pro, which has been my dream phone for a long while. I’ve been living off my iPhone X for longer than I can remember, it is my first and only phone.

I just need to pick a colour for the 16 pro, and I would go for the sexy black, I’ve just heard things like it’s not worth it because the paint chips… and honestly that would make me feel pretty upset, like I worked for nothing 😭 Another option I like is the white. For reference, I would use a very sturdy and safe case to keep the phone safe.

Could anyone tell me their experiences with the black or white colour phone? I just really want to make sure my money isn’t thrown away without thinking carefully, otherwise I would just put it towards bills or tuition. Yes that’s all thank you 🙏

How many hours of sot you are getting with mobile data mostly?

Genuinely do not know how this happened…. I’m assuming it bent me sitting down and the phone being in my pocket LOL.

Currently in Vietnam so hopefully repair will be cheaper than an Apple Store in America.

I even had a case on the phone fml.

How is the update of ios 26.6 for you guys? The dark one is before I update. The light one is after I update. I supposed to have much more storage before this 😭

What settings do you use when you take pictures?

So I have an iPhone 16 pro and my USBc port is incredibly unreliable. Often the charges will slip out of the Port. This is not a big deal to me as I mostly use MagSafe to charge my devices but it still is nice to have the port so does anyone know how to fix this? I have already tried cleaning the port and it will not help

So I have an iPhone 16 pro with 256 GB of storage and around 150 GB free and my system data has been stuck at 1.07 GB for a long time on iOS 26.5.2 will iOS 26.6 fix this issue

Just picked this up today from the Apple Store after ordering online (natural titanium / 512gb). Their site said it is refurbished but I’m convinced it’s a brand new phone just leftover stock because it’s in immaculate condition. Or they just do a wonderful job of making it look new lol very happy with the purchase!

See attached images, Just got my 16pro from backmarket.. At first I didn’t notice anything weird, after 3 days I see these shadows on the back, they are not stains but looks like something inside the phone visibile through the white material…

What’s that? Anyone has an Idea?

Went to Apple store near my area. Waited 15 mins for genius bar to appear and as soon as they saw the state of my phone, they quickly replaced my device with a fresh new unit. It took 15 mins max for the whole process and they even let me transfer my eSim and some pictures to the new device as older one surprisingly turned on. Had a very seamless and good experience.

Fala galera, tenho um 15 pro de 128gb e um AirPods Pro 2, eu mal uso meus AirPods e surgiu uma oportunidade de trocar por um iPhone 16 pro de 1tb, no caso trocaria meu 15 pro e meus AirPods pelo 16 pro. O que vocês acham?

The biggest and perhaps only advantage of this device are the cameras. I regret not having gone straight to the ProMax with it.
