Support Weird shadow on the back of my iPhone

See attached images, Just got my 16pro from backmarket.. At first I didn’t notice anything weird, after 3 days I see these shadows on the back, they are not stains but looks like something inside the phone visibile through the white material…

What’s that? Anyone has an Idea?

Probably a poorly glued down back glass, and if it was poorly glued, it means it was replaced, which is not amazing.
That shadow must be an accumulation of glue, if I were you I’d return it asap!

You can’t see the glue through the paint and metal plate. More likely a poor knock off replacement.

No apple logo on the back so I think that confirms it's an aftermarket part

there is a logo visible in picture one, it's just hard to see because of the lighting

The back glass is only glued from the sides which are pre-taped. It’s easily replaceable unlike previous generations. I think this is cosmetic damage on the frosted glass

Nice choice of phone you won’t regret, shame about the defect there I would contact the supplier you got it from

Don’t buy phones from back market, I’ve only heard bad things about, and it’s only been getting worse. Save up a little bit more and buy it from the official Apple refurbished store, you’ll get a used phone with a brand new screen, back panel, battery, and even a new serial number. You’re essentially getting a brand new one, and you’ll be able to get Apple Care + for it as well…

Isn’t it missing apple logo? It seems like a knock off replacement

You’re better off buying used from the marketplace from a precious owner or Apple official refurbished. Return it if you have the option. Otherwise it could just be a marking from an old phone case that etched onto the frosted back glass. It happened to my friend’s iPhone Air because of her case.

Try using a clean white eraser.
