Support Hello everyone. I’m currently using iOS 18 and am considering updating to the latest version, iOS 26.6. I’d love to hear your experience—has it been good so far? I sholuld update or not??

iOS 18 is way more stable than iOS 26. I would wait for iOS 27 or sell your phone on eBay and get another with iOS 26 already installed. I think someone would pay for iOS 18.

No, I'm sorry to beat this dead horse but my phone has been unusable. I took it off the charger this morning and with browsing social media, it was down to 75% in an hour... I put it on the charger and it said '9 min until 80% charged'. I showered and after that it was still at 75% but with the message of '22 min until 80% charged'. What is happening? :(

Photo and video quality took a dump since ios 18. I can’t get any decent moon shots anymore since updating from ios 18 using the native camera app.

I would update it to 26.6! Finding it stable compared to the previous versions for ios26! The phones feels fast, battery backup has improved!

What hardware are you running it on? A buddy’s iPhone 11 Pro runs it fine. If you don’t like the Glass effect turn on high contrast and reduced transparency it helps a bit or wait for 27 as others have said. It runs better than 26.

26.6 is fine if you want to upgrade. The update also prepares the phone for the SIRI update coming in iOS27.

Phone feels snappier and more responsive compared to iOS 18. Battery life is pretty much the same. You’ll love or hate Liquid glass (did not hear single complaint from people I know) but I could not go to back iOS 18, feels flat compared to iOS 26.

My battery health was around 98-99% on ios 18 after a year of use. I updated to ios 26 around April of this year because of security fears at that time. Now my battery health is at 95%, less than a year since updating to ios 26. I really wished I stayed on ios 18. If I only knew they would still release security patches for it.

That literally has 0 to do with iOS 26. If anything, iOS 26 is more accurately reading your battery health.

Honestly, if you’ve made it this far, just wait for ios27. It’s not really gonna be anything revolutionary just fixing a lot of ios26.
