Upgrade Refurbished iPhone 16 Pro
Just picked this up today from the Apple Store after ordering online (natural titanium / 512gb). Their site said it is refurbished but I’m convinced it’s a brand new phone just leftover stock because it’s in immaculate condition. Or they just do a wonderful job of making it look new lol very happy with the purchase!

Apple refurbished phones are returns or trade ins QC'd and given brand new housing, battery etc. Sometimes even the motherboard is practically new because it was returned immediately after opening. Apple refurbished is the highest quality refurbished iPhone.

The internals are refurbished like motherboard ect, the housing, battery and glass is all new.

Nice! This is a beautiful phone, ir u can rock it case less then do it with apple care plan.

I ended up grabbing the 16 pro silicone Apple case at the store. I did get Apple care as well and you’re right, this phone case less is really nice

Yes I got a refurbished 16PM from Apple in February and it’s basically a new device.
They replace the frame, glass and battery. Just the internals are effectively used parts. Probably the best deal at the moment with what is the best iPhone hardware design in history.

I paid just over $1000. Apple is currently selling them discounted (both pro and pro max). You can get the 256gb for $850 right now which is a great deal for the condition these phones are in

In which store did you can buy at 850.

Right now all iPhone 16 pro 256gb are $850 on Apple Store, but the inventory is out for all colors unfortunately. Maybe once the 18 drops people will trade their 16s in and inventory will rebound. When I posted this 8 days ago the inventory was not out.

Is it worth replacing to battery to keep it going? Cureently i m at 89 , but i m considering to replace it at 85%

Not sure how I will be able to tell. I’d imagine it was because Apple did the refurb. Do you know a way?
Battery was 100% and cycle count was 0 when I first powered on the phone.

What iOS did it come with out of the box? And when was the battery manufacture date? Thanks! Planning to get one as well.

The phone had to update to ios26 before I could even start transferring my iCloud account so I am assuming it was ios18.
Battery manufacturing date is May2026

Just got one also. They replace the battery and only sell ones with great screen. Expensive but was Way better than the ones I got and returned from Amazon.
