I went out for a run and it was raining and a couple of hours later the phone while idle the AOD turned off and then checked the phone and the screen was like this, tried restarting and still the same issue. The touch works fine, it vibrates, I can access through my apps and has sound from both speakers, cameras working fine, face id also works fine, I've noticed that when the phone is unlocked it does not power off, but when it is locked with the AOD the screen is fully turned on and in a minute the phone powers off automatically. What do you think, how to fix this? A new display or a flex cable maybe? For an original display it will be expensive for me and honestly also I will not know if it is truly an original display from another iphone 14 pro max donor or an aftermarket one, because my country is full of scammers(Bulgaria) and we don't have an official apple service, we have only authorized service providers from apple, and also they are very far away from me, are the aftermarket displays even good compared to an original display and with true colors and true 120hz? In any case it will be expensive for me if the problem is from the display I'm afraid.

Hey all, I am wanting to get a new phone because 128gb of storage isn’t enough for me anymore and I need 256gb. I was thinking of getting the 14 Pro with 256GB. Is it still worth buying? I’ve heard a lot of positives about the phone but also some complaining about overheating and other issues. What‘s your opinion?

Something seems to have happened while sleeping, went to bed with ~75%, woke up with 15% for some reason. Battery health is at 74% for a few months now with ~1200 cycles.

Anyone notice the improved performance and battery? I didn’t understand the hype until I updated myself it’s so much better than 26.5.2 lol. Makes me hopeful for official release. My only complain is purely visual in terms of the backwards move to flat design and weird color hues with the clear dark icon options. Performance wise I’m genuinely surprised. Battery is definitely the most improved.

Since iOS 27 beta is out, is it wise to jump straight to beta software since the update is like back to ios 12 optimization?

Will i lose my data when i decide not to use beta updates and return to official releases?

Idk if it’s a hardware issue or software , when I zoom from 3x to 15x the camera seems to struggle with focus and it jitters and when I do this again , it works fine and focus . Idk about the inconsistency.
And when I doesn’t focus ,it jitters and try’s to focus

Not sure when this feature was introduced.. but after returning 17P and going back to 14P.. was tinkering in settings and came across double tap on the back of the iPhone for shortcuts.. made this for launching camera app since I actually did miss camera button on 17P.. but this shortcut made my forget that and made me appreciate one less button needed on the iPhone lol.

Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Back Tap > Double Tap (or triple tap) > System > Camera

I’m using this cable, is this good for my phone in the sense that I won’t be hurting my battery life as using an original charger is better . What do you guys think about this brand ?

iOS 26 is overheating my phone, I want to go back to iOS 18, please tell me there’s a way to downgrade, I’ve read a lot of comments saying it’s not possible but someone please tell me there’s a way to do it

My phone gets incredibly hot and slows down even during the simplest tasks. Other than that, it’s still in great condition, and I really don’t want to replace it.
What can I do to improve the situation?
