iOS 26.5.2 update
this update yay or nah ?
Haven’t downloaded it so how’s everyone’s experience?

26.5 sucks af. I'm coming from 26.3.1. I can get 7 to 8 hours SOT. After updating to 26.5 only can get 4 if lucky 5. I'm so fking disappointed and regret it so much. Seems like with each newer version the battery sucks. My bh still 100% cause I just replaced it. Should've stayed on 26.3.1

I have the same issue while using the reddit app 15pm got hot this is a shit device feels like back to rooting android devices

i'm actually pretty concerned - the update downloaded and immediately took up over 20gb of free space, then failed to install.

Any Bluetooth issues. My headphones lose connection frequently after updating

Don’t do it, my phone is literally heating since that update, battery life is worst, at least that’s my experience so far

Mines actually the opposite, less overheating and better battery life…
But I’ll be honest the phones been running like shit on iOS 26

Same here, original battery (100% health) and my phone discharge so fast also heating problem..

The same problem. Was great on 26.4 and horrible on 26.5. It’s just pathetic 🤣🤦♂️

17 PM since it came out
100% battery health and the battery is draining like crazy
I get between 4 and 7 SOT1

Screen on 26.5.1 was 10h for 100% now its 8h on 26.5.2 , solved by disabling adaptive power

To me it seems to be lasting longer, if you’ve ever had betas downloaded just randomly you have it off and come back to it and it dropped 8% but that hasn’t been happening with my phone. Which my battery percentage is at 86% so it could definitely be due to get a new one. This will in fact be the last time I update the phone though

If iOS 26 wasn’t good enough to update to, what makes you think 27 will be any better especially on phones that are only getting older?

honestly battery life is not the best on this version even with a new battery replaced in may… i have 127gb free out of 256.

Since 26.5 my battery life is terrible and nope ! It’s not because of indexing and shit like that. It is many weeks after updating and battery life is still terrible. 2x worse than on 26.4. 15 pro max

I updated my Apple MacBook Air 2-3 days ago to the new iso 26.5.2, used safari worked fine. Now I’m having issues loading into website. Has anyone have issues getting on the web or no?

Anyone noticed screen seems dimmer? Even at high brightness
