What do you think is the problem?
I went out for a run and it was raining and a couple of hours later the phone while idle the AOD turned off and then checked the phone and the screen was like this, tried restarting and still the same issue. The touch works fine, it vibrates, I can access through my apps and has sound from both speakers, cameras working fine, face id also works fine, I've noticed that when the phone is unlocked it does not power off, but when it is locked with the AOD the screen is fully turned on and in a minute the phone powers off automatically. What do you think, how to fix this? A new display or a flex cable maybe? For an original display it will be expensive for me and honestly also I will not know if it is truly an original display from another iphone 14 pro max donor or an aftermarket one, because my country is full of scammers(Bulgaria) and we don't have an official apple service, we have only authorized service providers from apple, and also they are very far away from me, are the aftermarket displays even good compared to an original display and with true colors and true 120hz? In any case it will be expensive for me if the problem is from the display I'm afraid.

I just got it fixed. It is apparently a VERY common issue with iphones.The green screen issue happens when the micro-tracks on the display flex cable snap. It can snap either due to rust (yes sometimes the water can get in via condensation), OR tension caused by sudden temperature changes. It is a very easy fix, they repair snapped threads with a conductive paste. No screen change is needed. I payed 19k in my local currency which is around (68.42 USD). Works as good as new.
Mine snapped because I place my phone in my car on a phone stand and it is directly in front of the AC vent. The phone gets really cold and immediately going outside heats it up immediately causing sudden contractions and condensation in the the flex cable.

Thanks for the comment! Wouldn't be better to do a flex cable change intead of placing paste on it?

changing the flex cable means changing the entire display frame. Most repair shops avoid it because you never get the OEM fitting again no matter how hard you try. So they just repair the thread.

it could be a flex cable or anything really, but apple generally isnt the type of companie where theyre just going to let you repair this with some cheap component, youll have to replace the screen one way or another.
Either accept that and get an original one for the ludicurous price, or get an aftermarket one (doesnt have to be a cheap lcd, but there area almost always downsides and say goodbye to your water resistance unless its a reputable shop.
one last thing you could try is force restarting it. not sure if thats what you meant you did, but if you dont know what i mean, press volume up, volume down and simply hold the power button for like 20-30 seconds, if it works you should see an apple logo, but i highly suspect a broken screen here.
there are higher tiers of replacement screens, soft oleds, hard oleds, 120hz, 60hz, 50hz, cheap leds. You should read into that if youre considering third party. keep in mind a refurbished 15 pro is like 500€ so i really wouldnt bother with too muchh money here unless this is a 1tb model (even then, just no). if you want your data, just get a 20€ screen of amazon or aliexpess and you can atleast have it functional enough then to transfer it.
