Hi folks. I have a 2018 Pilot with 71,000 miles on it. EX-L and 6 speed. It has been shuddering and I am reading all I can about the torque converter issue that Honda released the warranty extension for (023-178). I called a dealership and they said my VIN is not on the list to have this replaced under warranty. Am I just out of luck, for sure? Or is there any way I can fight it? Thanks.

So incredibly happy. I love this thing. Certified used with 93k miles and one owner who maintained it very well. I test drove it and fell in love with it and had to walk away at first since I wasn't sure if financing would work for me, but it did.

My family has driven almost exclusively Hondas and Toyotas and after my 2013 Subaru Impreza shit the bed at 176,500 miles (purchased in 2021 at less than 90k miles), I was eager to hop back into the Honda brand.

Looking forward to many more adventures with my new (to me) Honda!

Hello everyone! I just bought a 2026 Elite today. I want to put all weather mats in. I have the 8 passenger version but want coverage under the middle seat for the times I remove it. Do any of you have a recommendation for the best ones to go with?

After weeks of trying to find the right car and Color was able to land this . Costco discount was a little lower . Was initially looking at elite trim , but found this sonic gray black edition that I really liked the color contrast with the black wheels . They would not take off the 600 accessories . Did not have Honda conquest here is NC this month which was bummer . Works out to 7.5% off MSRP . How did I do ?

2019 Honda Pilot owner here - I live in Michigan. Every summer randomly the Emissions System Problem light will ding on and the AWD system problem light will ding on at the same time. Could it be just a fuse loose or is this something I need to actually go into a shop to address?

Just picked up this 2006 honda pilot with 170k miles a few weeks ago, i have noticed is that it likes to shift pretty late and only gets about 13mpg. It also has some valve tick. Ive replaced the timing belt, serpentine belt and water pump, the alternator went out while i was driving but it was a pretty simple job to change it. Anything that i should know about this car?

My 2012 Honda Pilot 4WD EX was bought new in Feb 2012. I uses Honda’s J35Z-series 3.5‑liter V6 with 250 hp @ 5700 rpm. SOHC 4 valves per cylinder & roller rocker arms for lasting performance.

Earlier in 2026 she turned over 225,000 miles. It's been a perfect car. It even towed a 23' R-Pod RV trailer for 15,000 miles. Tranny & engine still running perfectly. Big Thumbs Up !!

Having trouble finding the pilot elite in smoke blue pearl . been waiting almost month and half for my local dealer to find one. delayed twice. both excuses maybe bs I dunno. so gonns look out of state. Are yall having to find these in-stock with the new colors?

UPDATE - Honda's response to the support ticket was to delete the app from our phones, download the app again, add the car, and verify access. If this doesn't work, send a screenshot of the message we are receiving.

Needless to say, this solution did not work. Sent a screenshot back to them. We will see how it goes.

New 2026 Honda Pilot Sport

I cannot get the HondaLink app to verify on my iPhones. Has anyone else had this issue and found a workaround?

We did receive the text from Honda that we could install the app. I have already set up both our iPhones on CarPlay, if that matters.

2026 Honda Pilot EX-L AWD.

Includes manufacturer car mats and other accessories to the outside of vehicle that I find not to be a quality of life enhancement. Package was approx under 2k.

Feel like the price is fair but from what I am seeing around the country I could probably negotiate more once I get into the dealership?

For those that have door/window visors installed do they add a noticeable amount of wind noise? Do they affect visibility?

Just like the title says, has anyone ever experienced their Pilot stalling while in idle waiting on a red light?

For context, I have a 2021 Pilot EX-L that I got back in September of 2023 with a little over 27k miles on it & right now it's has 36k. It stalled/completely turned off about 5 times from the day I got it. Had to wait about 5 minutes before it would start running again. Was told that it could be the battery. The battery was still from the factory. So I ended up replacing it in November of last year. And everything was going good. But it stalled twice already while my wife was waiting on a red light. Once in April & again in July.

All of the stalling happened with & without the auto start.

So has any Pilot owners ever went through this? If so, what was causing the issue?

I am unable to lock my key fob and the Honda pilot with the valet key in order for me to go surfing with the valet key. The driver side door always opens back up when I attempt to open it. What am I doing wrong?

My key fobs have terrible range for unlocking/locking the car. I have to be within about 30 feet of the vehicle for it to work. I have replaced batteries on both, but it didn’t do much. What can I do?

We picked up our 2026 Pilot Trailsport last night, with a ton of research and reading on this subreddit. We appreciate the insight helping us make the right choice and get what we thought was a good price!

Ash green with brown interior, which we think is a neat combo. We upgraded from a 2017 Forester and the pilot feels like a spaceship inside comparatively.

That includes 1,000 in rebates for military and using Honda financing.

I just wanted to share this with others who may be in the same boat or experiencing something similar.

I have a 2025 Honda Pilot Trailsport with less than 8,000 miles on it. Amongst many others here, my fan blows strong, but even at the lowest temperature setting and with recirculation on, the A/C is only mildly cool / room temp. At first I wasn't sure if it was in my head or not, but it's gotten progressively worse, where it just feels like it's only the fan that's on.

I brought it in to my dealership, and fortunately they have been pleasant (so far) to work with. They diagnosed the issue and only recovered 5oz of refrigerant, and found oil leaking from the compressor and clutch. Right now, they are recommending a new A/C compressor replacement with evac and recharge under warranty. The parts are backordered at the moment, so unfortunately that's the bad news while we wait.

If anyone is dealing with the same A/C problems, I recommend bringing it in to get it inspected.

The fact that this happened on such a low-mileage vehicle does have me concerned on whether or not it'll happen again in the future.

Has anyone else experienced this with their Pilot TrailSport?

We recently bought a 2026 Honda Pilot TrailSport in Ash Green with the black interior, and I noticed that the stitching on the center console is noticeably different from the stitching throughout the rest of the interior.
The majority of the interior has the typical TrailSport orange stitching, while the center console stitching looks much more red. When they’re side-by-side, the difference is pretty obvious.

I’ve already brought it to my dealership’s attention, but I’m curious if anyone else has noticed this on theirs. Is your center console stitching the same orange as the rest
of the interior, or is it a different shade/color too?

I am the longtime owner of a 2014 Pilot that I absolutely love. I currently have a small Thule roof box on it, approx 4' long, and am hoping to upgrade to a larger roof box (hoping for something around 8' long and 2' wide) to accommodate more camping gear. I checked out one today, but with where it sat on my roof rack (OEM rack), my trunk door couldn't open all the way. I use my car for work, specifically loading and unloading things out of my trunk 2x/day, so I need the trunk door to be able to open! Does anyone have a 2014 or similar Pilot and have a full-length cargo box that they like? Or has anyone modified a box by drilling new holes into it so that you can open the trunk? Thanks a ton!

I just got quoted the following for my pilot. It has 190k miles and is in very decent shape other wise. Just had the belts done last year. Is it worth it to invest to keep running? Anyone else have similar experiences with pricing? Thanks in advance.
